Unfortunately I can't give you a hint of what I'll release next, because even I don't know what I'll release next.
There's a few things I have started but it just comes down to what I'm in the mood to finish at the time.

I can give you a teaser of something I have planned but it's a little ways away.
It's what I'm calling a city transit set, keeping with the vanilla aesthetic.
In vanilla game all the transit options either have one uniform color or liveries that don't match.
So I want to make a transit set that has matching liveries across different forms of transportation.
Right now this will include two new metro models. One based of of Chicago's "L" and one based off of New York City's Subway.
Also be making a new tram model because in my opinion the vanilla tram doesn't look that good at all.
Then a few city bus models made from a modified trolleybus.
And maybe a new monorail, maybe.

That's just something I've really wanted to do but again it's a little far away.

Nice work!
Can you make the same model like this as a trolleybus?
sry for my englisch skills xD.

I really am thankful that you decided to do vanilla styled vehicles, ive been waiting for any type of vanilla styled related mods, heck id even buy vehicles packs if Colossal made some like they did with previous games.

Any hint to what the next vehicle will be? ;) haha cheers mate.

@Nyazuki
Not as difficult as I thought. It did require a little bit of time though.
All I did was watch the Blender 2.8 Beginner Tutorial series by Blender Guru.
That gave me a good understanding of what to do.
If I didn't know how to do something a quick Google search usually brought an answer.
And thankfully texturing isn't really an issue for me right now because I'm modifying vanilla vehicles. The textures are already made, I'm just making small edits.

@Chomers
Damn, I dont think I have the time to do blender, how challenging or how long does it take to get the model done then texture?
Chomers  [author] 7 Apr, 2020 @ 3:56am
@Nyazuki
I just use Blender.
But I'm teaching myself 3D modeling as I go along so I thought modifying vanilla vehicles would be a good start.

@snoq
Oh you're right.
This version didn't save the correct values for the springs/damper and lean/nod.
Oddly enough to left hand version has the correct values, even though I made that as a copy of this version.
I'll fix it.
snoq 7 Apr, 2020 @ 1:56am
Thanks of course for the work. :-D
snoq 7 Apr, 2020 @ 1:55am
I changed your model's settings to something similar to a train. Thanks to this, it has become more stable. Changed nod, lean, dampers and springs. That's just my suggestion.

Just a little addendum: the new trolley model could be of great use to convert to a bus and other varieties (heck you could add an articulated vanilla trolley or what not.
Kaedescope 6 Apr, 2020 @ 8:34pm
Oh my god the mad lad! You actually did it! This is great man! Keep up the good work! Id love to see your future vanilla content mate. Id like to see your version of the vanilla tram (perhaps you could use inspiration from the new metro model or the intercity train?) Or the default bus and intercity bus (the default bus could look great as an extended intercity bus and vice versa) Also if its okay to ask, what do you use when you model these or at least alter the vanilla ones? Cheers.

Oh yes! I've been waiting forever for a vanilla style articulated bus and you have delivered! Thank you :D
