it's possible somebody else may have deleted it by accident
anyway, double check your addons and then let us know
sorry for any inconveniences!
We are going through a bad heat wave / advisory here...
So, to be fair, it's probably got me a bit drained at the moment...
But I do know for sure, mine simply only combines this with Rayman's
And they're only actual Valve content from either Left 4 Dead game
Content such as pipes and tress like that shouldn't ever go missing
Infact, they should already be in the game if I remember correctly
However, anything Half-Life themed is often the cause in my experiences
Look and see if you have any Half-Life maps or mods and remove them
Double check if you also have the silly "volume 2"...
Volume 2, in my opinion, doesn't work like most people think
Bruh, I was using your mod and still having missing textures on Cold Stream. I tried asking you for help but you kept deleting my comments.
unless the authors have legit forgotten the contents themselves
we'd need more specific information
anyway, mine is indeed the one that combines this with Rayman's
mine would be an official one as it only contains removed Valve content
the second one isn't recommended due to requiring extra work
if something on workshop requires extra editing it make sit pointless to upload
There should be one on the workshop that has this and the other one combined into one addon, maybe try that and see if it helps.
What am I doing wrong?
we've never experienced this in our development or testing

A lot of thx.
Our fixes are for specific content.
That suicide blitz is unrelated.
But remember, you only need one fix.
My version combines the real fixes.
Read previous comments before claiming bugs.
the game might begin having issues when you have over a certain amount of addons...
when that happens, there's not really much you can do other than simply remove stuff.
people have to remember how old the game is, and the Source engine is even older.
not even optimized for 64 bits yet as far as I'm aware.
only so much can be done to try to fix or improve anything.
finally, proceed with caution with any other so-called "missing content fixes".
use others at your own risk and decide for yourself if they actually "fix" anything....
including if it's even necessary based on the reasons for its existence.
The so-called 2nd volume isn't anything "missing" from Left 4 Dead or Left 4 Dead 2.
It attempts to do is "fix" what's not "missing" or broken due to other Source content.
Specifically, Half-Life 2 maps and campaigns and their respective content.
But the only problem is just inconvenience due to many files sharing the same names.
So, the game is conflicted and confused about what it wants to load.
Unfortunately, only way to "correct" something not "wrong" is editing addon load order.
It expects users to edit files, unnecessary step, defeating the point of the workshop.
Just really only depends on specific user's needs.
The first one, coming from Rayman, was legit content Valve removed for reasons.
The third one (only other legit one) is similar, but it is regarding the original Left 4 Dead.
Mine simply combines both of them for convenience.
stick with Rayman's and this one.
or use mine which simply combines both of these.
sorry we can't be much help at the moment.
just that we spent time on the missing content fixes... Ray, "Dave", and me.
rather certain they're not changing anything they're not supposed to.
but then again you never know when a game update changes something.
and that was ironically why they were even created in the first place.
we're also certain all tress, rocks and whatever else, if included, are fully intact.
however, as you and him say, it could be some rogue addon misbehaving.
it's not fixing anything legitimately missing, it's more like a DLC.
all it does is throw in random Half-Life 2 content, but it's not meant for everything.
the second one also requires unnecessary extra steps defeating the point of workshop.
it's also for anything Half-Life 2 related themed, it's not an actual "missing content fix".
the problem it tries to fix is files of models and stuff having the same filenames.
and that's why its content goes missing but it's not really missing, it's conflicting.
this is an easy fix on the end of the author who ported the content as they could rename.
mine combines this one with Rayman's which is content actually missing.
as described, not ported over or actually removed.
if something else is still missing then it's a fault or oversight from an author.
the missing content fixes aren't meant to be universal Band-Aids.
they only restore missing content from Valve themselves, not other people.
there could also be something else wrong with your game and other addons.
it's just Half-Life 2 content, mostly, if I remember correctly.
so, it's not even "missing" from the game.
and you have to do extra unnecessary steps to even use it
(defeating the point of workshop).
my understanding is it's for maps that use Half-Life 2 content or are Half-Life 2 ports.
there's files sharing the same names as Left 4 Dead's files and that's a conflict.
it's attempting to stop the game form being confused, not restore anything missing.
because nothing is missing, it's a conflict due to sharing the same filenames.
mine combines this with rayman's.
you don't use all of them at the same time.
and volume 2 is definitely not what people think it is.
volume 2 doesn't work as intended or expected and require unnecessary extra steps.
What a coward thief who doesn't understand.
Oh well. No one's going to understand his.
Users aren't going to want to do extra steps.
And it's not actual missing content anyway lol
And it doesn't work like you'd think.
It was already fixed.
You took rays and his and made unnecessary changes.
You didn't get permission.
Valve didn't make the mods.
It only restored content.
Doesn't matter, well probably report you soon enough.
Not gonna waste my time arguing with a theif
