@. . . Pedestals change based on room backdrop. They tend to change more in the super secret rooms because of the variety of backdrops.

So I've tested quite a bit & regarding the Super Secret pedestal oddity – seems like the pedestal on it is completely randomized each floor

Doesn't make any changes to my game, at least on AB+.
That is unless I have another mod conflicting with it, but very unlikely.
None of my mods modify pedestals as far as I'm aware.

@. . . Speaking about the issues:

1) It's the flickering bug. It happens because pedestals are updated after they are created, so it shows the default pedestal in the first frame. If pedestals are updated in the first frame, all chest, machine and modded pedestals break in the process. It's a minor issue, but I'm still trying to find a fix to that.

2) May be related to the mortis pedestal not appearing at the right floor. It's a bug atm.

3) This is the backdrop debug. I forgot to remove it.

@. . . Are you trying to find the original item pedestal sprite? It can be found in resources/gfx/items/levelitem_001_itemaltar.png.

tried extracting the games' files but couldn't find anything item–pedestal related in the " slots " folder :|

I wanted to edit some stuff to put my own spin on it alongside the OG mod, i guess i'll abstain from this mod at least for a while 'cause of that lol. it's a shame but ah well

the angel pedestal one should have a yellow | red & blue dots imo to resemble the Godhead holy trinity Losts' shtick, would be awesome

Love this mod. I am also having issues with the "pay to play" coin chest turning invisible when an item is spawned. Need to try disabling this mod once it happens again to see if it's related.

@Real Statis Is "Pay to Play chest item pedestal" related to golden chests being updated to chests that require coins? I didn't find any issues with that.

the Pay to Play chest item pedestal still needs fixing as at the moment it just appears invisible, other than that this mod is amazing

i agree with the j my games kind of glitching out when a modded pedestal appears

can you add a failsafe pedestal that just looks like the default one? if you get a modded pedastal or something it looks really glitcjy (an example is andromedas abandoned plantsaroums)

@DJT No, the golden pedestals are part of the Epiphany mod (the one with the tarnished characters).

This mod has the golden pedestals (gives 2 of said item) right? I have it installed and haven't found any yet so I'm confused if I'm just unlucky or it's not in this

Mod makes chests invisible as the below comment says, could this be a bug that could be fixed? love ur mod!!

With this mod, when opening a golden chest while having Pay to Play, the chest will become invisible when it contains a pedestal item.
Its a great mod otherwise but it would be awesome if that could be fixed, thanks!

I got an item from a golden chest with Pay to Play, and the pedestal was invisible.

Do these pedestals seem kinda... offcenter?

@baymaxjax Probably not. It's very likely that the mimics have the default pedestal sprite independent of the current sprite.

so i have a possible bug complaint but, i think it may not be true and i'd like somebody to test it out for me
so basically i've been having this issue with basically all of my mods having some sort of other mod that i downloaded glitching others out
splashy disables gutso
multiplayer stats disables map
etc
but i think this mod MIGHT be disabling the regret pedestals mod which is a mod that puts a little fade of an item if you grab it instead of something else
please check it out cuz i think this mod is glitching that

@Tomandandy It's incompatible with RIV. Both mods change item pedestal codewise.
