Or maybe it's just the aim, I have no real idea what's causing the absurd range. Plus that one free pistol shot skill might be affecting enemies since I had a duelist shoot at me 4 times.
My conclusion is that it could write those (non existent) values, but not override the other values. Specifically mobility.
I don't know what to do with this information. But good luck out there gents.
Actually, AML has a load order. I think mods are numbered based on how long they've been subscribed to in Steam Workshop. I have LWOTC as #18 and "A better..." as #11-13. I just changed that order and... It started working correctly, affecting all characters, including changes within config files.
-DOWNLOAD XCOM 2 Alternate Mod Launcher. (Use it, its better than the default 300%)
-Subscribe to all your preferred "A Better Mod"
-Move the folder of mod to your local mod folder. (Move the whole folder with , for this, its 2054860592 to your local mod folder location, its usually steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Mods)
-Use AML to activate the mod.
-Thats it. Youre good to go.
(Theres no need to make LWOTC Local, only the A Better series mod you prefer.)
Classes that are promoted through editing the config file can add perk or ability, but in the case of rookie, I can't promote, so I don't know what syntax to use.
The folders' names must be changed to the following names:
LWOTC_ABetterArsenal
LWOTC_ABetterRookie
LWOTC_ABetterStart
Then they will work.
Because in their config/XComEditor.ini ,for example, A Better Arsenal, there is a code:
"+ModPackages=LWOTC_ABetterArsenal"
So the folder's name must be as same as this code , then AML can load it successfully.

If you have XCS then give this a try. I'll be coming out with a Lite version and then A Better Agent and A Better Arsenal all with Lite versions here soon.
