Bonjour!
J'aurais aimé l'essayer sur "Play the World Giant Map" ou "Carte Viking", mais il ne fonctionne pas sur ces cartes !

I would have liked to try it on "Play the World Giant Map" ou "Viking Map", but it doesn't work on those Maps

improving a sea resource (by building fishing boats, for instance) doesn't construct Moais on adjacent land tiles...

I am playing a Hotu Matu'a right now, and it's a unique campaign beyond my expectations. Starting in the middle of an ocean is such a magnifient idea! I have never had a real sea empire on this scale. Excellent work!
My only gripe is that the leader's portrait is badly cropped, with some white background visible around the hair.

This mod is deleting the La Venta City State Colossal Head UI, instead of the Moai UI from the Rapa Nui City State. I went into the Core>Rapanui_UI.sql file and changed the line under Improvements from "DELETE FROM Improvements WHERE ImprovementType = 'IMPROVEMENT_COLOSSAL_HEAD';" to "DELETE FROM Improvements WHERE ImprovementType = 'IMPROVEMENT_MOAI';" and the mod seems to work fine and not delete the Olmec Improvement.

I'm a big fan of this Civ as well. I just wish I could figure out how to make them work well for me. Great challenge, and lots of fun when I don't get lost at sea or build in Tundra. One of my favorites from Gedemo.

I'd like to report an incompatibility: this mod does not work properly with p0kiehl's Earlier Embarking + Ocean Navigation mod. The game starts fine, but does not spawn the starting units for Rapa Nui. I assume it's because p0kiehl's mod makes it so embarkation unlocks with Sailing rather than Shipbuilding. Pretty sure this could be fixed by making Rapa Nui start out with Sailing unlocked as well.

no, this mod, as long as it is enabled, totally deletes the rapanui city-state, even if the civ is not in the game

Hi @Gedemo - thanks for your work on all your mods! Is the Rapa Nui city-state disabled if Rapa Nui is not in the current gameplay? (e.g. 8 random civs and they're not selected. will the city-state potentially show up?)

Ok, after more testing it seems Moai can't be built adjacent to another Moai (by builders, because the ones built when improving see ressources don't have this restriction). Hope it can help !

Hey ! Loving your mods here ! I just notice a bug where i can't build Moai on "valid" hexes (coastal plains or grassland mostly). It SEEMS to be related to adjacent jungle (with luxury on my game but I didn't do extensive testing so I can't confirm). I don't use any mod that alter Moai / terrain / improvements other than yours. Could you take a look at that when you'll have time ? Thanks !

I wouldn't suggest this as certainty, but it seems like something's wrong with this mod. After I disenabled the mod my game worked fine again. It is only a speculation but could you look into your codes? Thanks

After playing several times with Hotu Matu'a, I wanted to strengthen him a little because he can be pretty weak at early game on higher difficulty levels. I added +2 culture and a free Builder (like Kupe) and the unique building gives another +1 additional loyalty and is available earlier (at Masonry instead of Construction).

Thank you for the suggestion. I checked to see if the Morocco mod had gotten re-enabled, but I had already deleted it and it is not even there. It must be conflicting with one of my other mods. I have 30 of your other civilization mods, so one out of 30 is not bad!

yes, I've tried some blind (unsuccessful) updates with morocco so it is surely re-enabled in your mod list and cause the crash.

Lupao -- check to see if your Morocco mod somehow got re-enabled. Mine did somehow, even though I had manually deactivated it some time ago. Once I re-disabled it, Rapa Nui worked.

I am a great fan of your new civilizations. Sadly, I could not get Rapa Nui to work. I could not get it come up in a game once I had enabled it and it crashed any other game that I tried to start, even if I did not include it in that game. So, I had to dis-enable it. I had similar issues with the Morocco mod. I am stumped. I would be greatful if any one finds out whatever the issue is.

I seem to have isolated the issue -- it was with your Morocco mod. Once I disabled that one, I I could start a game with Rapa Nui.

for some reason, the maori cultural style works well for the units but not for the palace, etc..(it gives the default european palace with colonial buildings).so i've changed it to southamerican and now it is indonesian.

I support the idea of replacing current city states with civilizations, however I'd recommend brighter jersey colors as well as replacing the architecture with pacific (maori), east asian (chinese) or southeast asian (indonesian). Keep it up!

@春 thank you for your nice comment. OK for the translation.
In your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content... you have to find your Rapa Nui mod, and then you have to find the Template_GameText file. inside it you have 2 parts of the text whose sentences end with "fr_FR" (french text) or "en_US" (english version). you just have to copy one of these 2 blocks, replace the end with "zh_Hans_CN" (chinese) and translate the text. you can send it to me via the civfanatics.com site and i will add it into the mod.
