Yea I understand, it seems to me a me issue anyway.... im sub'd to both lighting packs (liberated-obsolete and modern) and LSM still tells me the park light is the one in 2000 assets im missing :steamsad:

@REDstoner: It's not the biggest pain in the ass, but as some people (like me) are subscribed to the old pack and have used it in their cities, there's no dependency that's going to be perfect. Some people will use the opposite pack.

Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to create these wonderful assets (I'm subscribed to all your assets..) but may I ask? how much of a "p.i.t.a." would it be to change the "Park Lights" in these quays to be changed to the ones from the updated "modern lighting pack"? trying to reduce amount of unnecessary props from my collection

@Avanya - I really appreciate you taking the time. Not only are you a talented creator you go over and above to help.

@Shane_UK10: It took me a while to find but I knew I had some quays that use the theme textures. They just weren't in the slope profiles pack. Here they are:

@Avanya thank you for the response and yes I've tried those before and just had another play to make sure I was remembering correctly.
They are great...but they don't really work like quays. The joy of quays is they just work and don't need a ton of fiddling about.
The profiles do the job but are a nightmare for small tight irregular areas like around bridges. Often you end up with floating planes of green sticking out of the hillside.
I'm not sure if a quay version is possible but one day I was drawing in stone quays and thought "I wish there was a grassy version." You sprang to mind as the wizard of choice :)

I know you are really busy these days but I wonder whether it would interest you to create a quay wall with a grass slope texture? Something that could be used at intersections but instead of concrete/brick walls that are vertical, a grassy slope.

At least in the first screenshots. If it's the later ones I'll need to know what pics we're talking about ;)

Great asset. What are those buildings by the way?
Avanya  [author] 25 Feb, 2021 @ 12:39pm
@Mornach: Yes, that's to be expected. They have different SteamIDs, so the game thinks it's a different lamp post.

I'm using Modern Lighting Pack - 2020 Edition instead of the now obsolete Modern Lighting Pack: Liberated! and I get a missing asset in LSM: Park Light used by: Stone quay 2 - Decorated, Stone quay decorated, Stone quay fenced decorated, Stone quay fenced, plain & decorated and Tiered stone quay - Decorated.

Like you would a road. Simply make a path that ends right up against the quay. :)
krose1980 22 Jan, 2021 @ 1:19pm
how do you connect path to it?
