I don't use Horse Lords or Sunset Invasion so it is great to finally see their awesome frames across tribal Tengri and Zoroastrian realms. Genius of a mod! ERE and Papal States also look way better.

The default functionality will work just by playing with the mod active.
Dreamk 1 May, 2024 @ 9:36am
I feel useless, how do I use it?
Andrew42 25 Mar, 2023 @ 2:41am
Bro, you can't just sneak in that you added AGOT support in the changelog. This has to be in Bold at the top of the description, maybe even in the title. This needs to be in the citadel, too. THIS IS HUGE.
Vecho 10 Sep, 2021 @ 3:10am
Good to know. Thanks for reply.
Nendur  [author] 10 Sep, 2021 @ 3:06am
They are compatible, this changes the frames on the map and Patrum Scuta changes the frames on the information screens.
Vecho 9 Sep, 2021 @ 6:54pm
I believe Patrum Scuta also have frame feature, as below.
• Many religions (other than Christianity) were given separate shield frames and new templates featuring their own traditionnal designs : Islam, Tengriism, Germanic, Slavic, Baltic & Finnic pagans, Zoroastrianism, West African paganism, Judaism, Hellenic paganism and even Aztecs.

Is this two mod compatible with each other?
Consort 23 Aug, 2021 @ 7:08am
By far one of the best mods out there a small one but a great one
biropg 15 Apr, 2021 @ 5:50am
the shields could do to be bigger
Nendur  [author] 21 Jan, 2021 @ 3:33am
The screenshot is from Lux Invicta to get a pre-existing Roman Empire for easy testing.
Kisigi 20 Jan, 2021 @ 10:01pm
@Nendur Could you tell me which map mod is that? it looks different to me (from the Alps to notice) and the texture is also from the map mod or separate?
AgedWisdom 5 Dec, 2020 @ 5:13am
@Nendur I see that's alright, it just looks a little odd with the way it contrasts with the shield outline but I'm pretty that's not something that you could edit without some heavy duty software.
Nendur  [author] 4 Dec, 2020 @ 10:53am
It is going with the white marble Roman aesthetic. The screenshot was from Lux Invicta I think.
AgedWisdom 4 Dec, 2020 @ 6:54am
Is the imperial eagle for the restored Roman Empire supposed to be white? I ask because I'm using it in combination with WtWSMS and it's a little odd to go from regular eagle as the WRE to sudden white eagle when you recombine with the ERE. I see that in the main image displayed here that it's white so I'm assuming so, also what mod were you using to get that flag for the RE in that image?
Nendur  [author] 16 Nov, 2020 @ 10:03am
The edits I've made was changing the names for the texture files. That was done with a hex editor.
michal 16 Nov, 2020 @ 8:11am
@Nendur Hey, could you tell me, how to open and edit .mesh files, you were using in this mod?
Turtle-Gal 16 Sep, 2020 @ 12:44am
Dang. I was hoping there was a way around it, since the size of the frame fixes Patrum Scuta's hellenic roman empire's flag having weird black borders. Thanks anyways!
Nendur  [author] 15 Sep, 2020 @ 4:49pm
It does look like the title specific frames don't work with the alternate pagan CoA's. Removing the entries from mapitems_special.gfx is an option.
Turtle-Gal 15 Sep, 2020 @ 2:44pm
@Nendur This is a compatibility problem with Patrum Scuta, but I noticed that the Roman and Byzantine flags don't change to the non-christian versions when the ruler changes religion. Do you have any idea why the roman frame would stop it from changing, and how I could fix it? If you do, thanks!
Nendur  [author] 8 Aug, 2020 @ 7:51am
Yes, that will be fine.
wardify97 8 Aug, 2020 @ 7:21am
Hello, I represent the devs of an upcoming CK2 mod set during the beginnings of the Bronze Age collapse, I was wondering if it would be alright for us to use these frames for the myriad semitic and indo-european pagan religions we are adding. You will of course, be credited.
chebonaparte 6 Jul, 2020 @ 1:59pm
not showing in med menu for me
Felistansa 5 Jul, 2020 @ 11:12pm
Nice mod
Nendur  [author] 1 Jul, 2020 @ 4:05am
You can remove interface/mapitems_eastern.gfx.
Polish_Milk 30 Jun, 2020 @ 5:33pm
Can I somehow disable the orthodox one?
Turtle-Gal 14 Jun, 2020 @ 5:01pm
Nendur  [author] 14 Jun, 2020 @ 3:21pm
Try the same link again to test with vanilla textures.
I've put a screenshot in the description with the Hellenic frames.
Turtle-Gal 14 Jun, 2020 @ 12:45pm
Could I see what the frames are supposed to look like?
Turtle-Gal 14 Jun, 2020 @ 12:45pm
That turned the frames completely black.
Nendur  [author] 14 Jun, 2020 @ 12:33pm
The replacement files should be extracted and put into the original framesforall.zip archive.
Turtle-Gal 14 Jun, 2020 @ 11:15am
Doesn't the file need a .mod folder? I can't actually activate it.
Nendur  [author] 14 Jun, 2020 @ 10:43am
Combine the two parts into one, Steam is picky about filtering download links.
Turtle-Gal 14 Jun, 2020 @ 10:28am
Which link do I click on?
Nendur  [author] 14 Jun, 2020 @ 4:44am

Can you test these replacement Hellenic textures to see if that makes a difference.
Turtle-Gal 13 Jun, 2020 @ 12:49pm
yeah, the hellenic frames have weird white around them (Especially the Roman empire frame)
Nendur  [author] 12 Jun, 2020 @ 1:15am
Still stumped by this. If you want to change the frames you can find them in interface/mapitems_hellenic.gfx and the roman_empire item in mapitems_special.gfx.
Loub 11 Jun, 2020 @ 10:50am
Not really - all of my graphics settings are at max/default - I normally run the saves I've tested that on with BLG and your other mods, but aside from those, none of my mods affect any graphics.
Nendur  [author] 10 Jun, 2020 @ 3:19pm
Do you have any changed graphics settings?
Loub 10 Jun, 2020 @ 12:59pm
Seems to completely break Hellenic frames as of the latest update - Empire-level frames (such as those of the restored Roman Empire) are replaced by some bizarre, glitchy white piping, while king-and-lower level frames are completely absent, only showing the region's flag/shield with no borders whatsoever.

I tried running the game with zero mods other than this one, also redownloaded it, and the problem seems to stem directly from this mod, namely the latest update
Nendur  [author] 10 Jun, 2020 @ 5:09am
Non-working graphical culture types are missing entries in common/graphicalculturetypes. I've added customizing instructions to the descriptions now.
2Pac Alive in Serbia 9 Jun, 2020 @ 9:32pm
and for the record, this works with After The End Fan Fork, it's just that it will require some file editing to get the correct frames in place (i.e old world cultists use hellenicgfx and that replaces their frames with the chinese-like ones)
2Pac Alive in Serbia 9 Jun, 2020 @ 9:30pm
I've played around with this mod for a bit and unfortunately bongfx and copticgfx don't seem to have their own map frames, while egyptiangfx doesn't actually use the arabic pagan frames (arabicgfx works, just egyptiangfx doesn't).
Mod is great though, why did paradox remove most of these frames in the first place? hindugfx, jewishgfx and jaingfx are gorgeous.
Nendur  [author] 9 Jun, 2020 @ 5:14am
In interface/mapitems_special.gfx, you can replace byzantium.xac with holy_roman.xac.
Eagle Screech 8 Jun, 2020 @ 7:40pm
Any way to change both Roman Empire shields into the default Empire Shield?
Nendur  [author] 5 May, 2020 @ 6:05am
That WRE version will be included in the future.
TheAuditor24 5 May, 2020 @ 3:54am
Can you add the HRE frame to the Western Roman Empire from WTWSMS? ERE still uses the Byzantine Empire id so it keeps the eagle, but WRE is added by the mod and doesn't have the HRE frame.
Nendur  [author] 20 Apr, 2020 @ 3:06pm
Yes, the flame and wings embelishments made them a match.
Kropolis 20 Apr, 2020 @ 1:32pm
Are the Zoroastrian frames supposed to be the Aztec frames?
ゆの 18 Apr, 2020 @ 4:47pm
does this improve the framerate?
:)
sorbin 18 Apr, 2020 @ 3:14am
Great mod, very smart, congrats
