Unfortunately this does not seem to work with mods like Extended Generic Focus Tree or Generic Focus Tree ++. I know nothing of how modding works, but if it is possible do you think you could make that happen?

The Icelandic focus isn't working for me. Maybe this is a known issue, or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

You should add Tacticaltea's "Expanded Generic Focus Tree" as an option.

I hope you update so we can get the New German and Hungarian focus trees as well as have Belgium, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and minor South American focus trees added in as well.

I am aware of this and it's just because of an error I made when writing the code (It happens sometimes, I'm one person). As for a when will it be fixed, I make my mods in my free time so more like when I feel like it/ have spare time, but a definitive date would be sometime following the next DLC when I set aside some time to just update mods.

It is completely random what tree is selected by the AI as every option has a weight of 10 in the game rule setting for it, you just seem to be getting extremely lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) with what the AI is selecting if your getting only generic and poland.

add something that swaps all the country's focuses!! like, everyone has generic or everyone has polish tree, etc.

MrGeneral, when I swapped the PRC focus tree to the CHI focus tree, the general diplomatic lines overlapped with the military lines because its position remained unchanged. Could this problem be solved?

The Colonial Expansions mod uses the Improved Generic Focus Tree mod as its basis so that probably explains why.

This mod was created with the vanilla trees in mind and for easier debugging on my end so using mods that make changes to or adds new focus trees is not advised and are very likely to break

I've noticed that when playing the Colonial Expansions mod, using the focus tree swapper to switch the German and Japanese focus trees from the mod version to the base game version breaks both trees.

This is not the case for the Chinese focus tree, but I am unsure if other focus trees are also broken.

This mod, as I should've expected, appears to have bugs.

Notably, if you were to, say, start up the German Civil War with the mod enabled, pause before the news event plays, save, and then load it up with the mod disabled, the news event gets replaced by an event for the Soviet Union meant to be played when a chinese warlord asks to take over the PRC. If you accept in that event, Germany will annex the PRC and be given their cosmetic tag (as you'd probably expect from that specific event).

So, uh, that's a thing.

Just for those that want to play as someone else, The focuses that assign companies or advisors will clout in the back and eventually cause a crash due to the fact that those advisors are bound by code to the original country tag and wont recognize yours.

Example: ''Jack'' is an advisor that comes to America if you go Commy.
However you are Turkey with USA focus tree.

''Jack'' will NOT be added to you, but also will clout in the background and give an error each time game tries to see whats going on. Because ''Jack'' is supposed to be assigned to USA, but USA didnt go commy.

TUR did, but TUR is not the tag ''Jack'' is supposed to be related to.

Only swap to other tree's if you want to reset your progression.

Aka You can go Balkan unity with Turkey, swap to random country, swap back to Turkish Focus tree and now can be guaranteed by both Allies and Axis despite being a third independent faction.
