I agree, still works and helps save my eye sight. I wish someone would take it over and keep it updated...
Wolfen 9 May, 2024 @ 8:26am
Still works without any issues and still is one of the mods that make the game playable for me, thank you very much.
RadioactiveNight 24 Jun, 2023 @ 9:23am
Thank you Thank you. I was very much over that milky/smoky white Fog of War/Intel area around by systems.
Kraegor 10 Feb, 2023 @ 3:09pm
I mean unless its another mod, but the only other mod I have that modifies the core is Gigastructures for the Aeternum
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 8 Feb, 2023 @ 11:37pm
Weird. I am not seeing that on my end. It has the black circle in the center, but none of the other issues I am seeing there. Let me see what

Can you link a screenshot? I have no idea what you are talking about.
Kraegor 29 Dec, 2022 @ 8:47pm
So the black PNG background used to darken the core background that created a lined shadow around the core system is not from this mod?
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 24 Dec, 2022 @ 11:55pm
I do not think that is me. It doesn't do that in my game.
Kraegor 21 Dec, 2022 @ 1:39pm
Is there any way you can make the dark background bigger? The background cuts out halfway through the galaxy, making a line appear and everything else appear a little more whitewashed.
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 27 Sep, 2022 @ 10:57am
Hope it doesn't mess with updates later...
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 27 Sep, 2022 @ 10:57am
No problem all! Yes, I can update the name, no problem!
Minnow 21 Sep, 2022 @ 2:12pm
Could we get a title update to reflect this when able , thanks for the mod and updates though.
Wolfen 21 Sep, 2022 @ 1:02am
Thank you for the update \o/
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 20 Sep, 2022 @ 4:29pm
UPDATED!!! Joy and celebrations abound!
Wolfen 7 Jul, 2022 @ 9:50pm
@HolyFarglesnot Thanks for saving our old eyes!
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 7 Jul, 2022 @ 2:57pm
I try. Good luck out there, all!

6.7.2022 version 3.4.5 IRONMAN Compatible!
THX a lot!!!!!!
Wolfen 12 May, 2022 @ 9:51am
Works fine with 3.4
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 9 May, 2022 @ 3:57pm
Yep, still active, still working, and still Ironman compatible. Have fun everyone!
Scyobi_Empire 9 May, 2022 @ 12:38pm
This mod is nearly impossible to be killed in any update, unless they somehow make deleting a graphic break the game
Peter34 9 May, 2022 @ 9:25am
I last played Stellaris 2 days ago. This mod works fine.
Knight.R 9 May, 2022 @ 6:15am
still alive?
Brokkhouse 24 Feb, 2022 @ 7:01am
Awesome, thank you!
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 23 Feb, 2022 @ 9:26pm
Yep. It is just a graphics mod, so it should always work. If there is an issue, though, I'll take a look and see what I can do. Have fun!
Scyobi_Empire 23 Feb, 2022 @ 7:27am
This mod works with any version
Brokkhouse 23 Feb, 2022 @ 7:05am
Hi, thank you for a great mod. Is this compatible with 3.3.1?
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 4 Jan, 2022 @ 11:04pm
Thanks! The OP did a good job with it, I am glad to be keeping it alive.

The increase in fps is noticeable, I play at high settings (144 hertz resolution) fps dropped from 144 to 80 in some parts of space, there were small friezes. Now the FPS is kept at exactly 144 frames, there are very few friezes - the mod is really good!
Wolfen 22 Nov, 2021 @ 1:03pm
Works fine with 3.2 Herbert
Scyobi_Empire 3 Oct, 2021 @ 5:05am
Delete the mod and reinstall
Dragatus 3 Oct, 2021 @ 1:46am
The Stellaris launcher isn't letting me enable the mod and there is a warning that says "This mod is missing a descriptor file."
Råb!d 14 Aug, 2021 @ 5:28am
Much better.
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 3 Aug, 2021 @ 1:17pm
Your welcome, Kinzer. As for Coitus, no, none that I know of, sorry.

Coitus Maximus 29 Jul, 2021 @ 6:34am
Is there a mod that gets rid of the galaxy cloud? And no, i am not talking about the fog of war. Something that makes it so you only see stars and nebula in explored space. Not a cloud soup that covers everything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :steamhappy:
BerryBologna 26 Jul, 2021 @ 3:12pm
Thanks for your work in keeping this updated!
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 23 Jun, 2021 @ 6:42pm
Updated. Have fun everyone!
Scyobi_Empire 9 May, 2021 @ 4:55am
@Fetal works fine for me
Peter34 8 May, 2021 @ 5:04pm
This mod still works with the 3.0.3beta.
Fatal 8 May, 2021 @ 12:04pm
Great mod, I wonder if an update to 3.x is planned?
the shockmaster 24 Dec, 2020 @ 11:56am
Guys, I think I am tired of videogames.
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 14 Nov, 2020 @ 12:11am
Ooh, good point!
Kepos 2 Nov, 2020 @ 11:06pm
Ah, thx...don't forget Achievements... :steammocking:
I learned, that there is a difference between Ironman and Achievement compatibility. °°
facciola007 2 Nov, 2020 @ 8:52pm
Thank you!
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 29 Oct, 2020 @ 10:34pm
Got'ya. Yeah, I just recently tested for ironman compatibility, but didn't post it for some reason.
Kepos 25 Oct, 2020 @ 3:55am
Thank you for keeping this fine mod alive @HolyFarglesnot.

BTW, I can confirm that this mod is not changing checksum and is confirmed Ironman and Achievement compatible. You may point this out in the description, so others could view. :steamhappy:
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 11 Oct, 2020 @ 4:35pm
Can you give me a screenshot of your core?
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 11 Oct, 2020 @ 4:34pm
Weird. I will see what I can do, then.
Cavalier Roy 9 Oct, 2020 @ 4:27am
No this mod and the increased AI mod is all i have and i only had that mod so i could observe how the empires i created would fare with much less space to expand early on and many more empires to contend with.
HolyFarglesnot  [author] 8 Oct, 2020 @ 8:13pm
I mean, it works for me. Do you have any mods that effect the galactic core? Gigastructures, for example?
