@wieselking, Did you make it to the medieval era with all 15 of those rondels? Also, the artifacts won't be visible until you unlock Archaeology.

@lunar223, I increased the chance to create them and reduced the maximum number of artifacts.

@lunar223, yeah the RNG is annoying. I might just make it 100% and cap it to 4 artifacts.

@lunar223, if you build a rondel and don't remove it before it becomes obsolete (with the medieval era), then there's a 50% chance that it will create an artifact on the spot. You can remove it after it becomes obsolete and it won't get rid of the artifact.

FYI, this won't cause hidden strategic resources to be removed or anything like that, so if you build it on a hill with hidden uranium the uranium isn't going to be replaced with an artifact.

How does the artifact emergance work exactly? Do you have to improve the tile the rondel was built on or do you just wait around until one just randomly shows up?
