@Everyone i just went over all the files, there where some very minor bugs that i didn't notice in playtesting (when a level 6 resolution was active, some starbase modifiers wouldn't actually take effect) that i fixed, the mod is now fully 3.8 compatible and i doubt anyone who played with it before has noticed any issues, either.

@Cutiegorgon i'll update the mod description to reflect all features next patch, the civic is set not to be used in randomly generated empires and i don't like splitting mods up so it won't be removed unless there is significant feedback - it's mainly in the game to give non-corporate empires a way to use the criminal resolution tree because it would otherwise be far too niche.

It would be good to mention this mod also adds a civic. I was wondering where "Pirate Haven" came from. IMO it has nothing to do with the galactic community and should be in a different mod

@Gordon_CMB thank you for the info. That's really good to know, i tested this extensively back when i made the mod, but given that was like a week after resolutions where introduced to the game it's no wonder things have changed.

@xDanilor Hey-a, I'm the developer of Resolutions Expanded, it should be a-okay to launch both mods together 👍

@MrArcaneGates I'm not sure if it wasn't possible to do earlier, but now you can! You can create separate files for resolutions and resolution categories, so no compatibility issues would arise

@Kaarin unfortunately it's not possible to add resolutions without modifying vanilla files, so no unfortunately not. It should be pretty easy to make a compat patch - but also pretty timeconsuming, especially since it needs to be maintained.

If you want to look into doing it yourself i can point you in the right directionm, but i don't want to maintain hundreds of patches myself.

I did slightly nerf health insurance, not the effects itself but it's popularity. The early stages are slightly less popular and the latter stages are very unpopular and should require a lot more effort to enable.

Back when i created the civic synthetic ascension was a lot stronger, at this point in time it doesn't feel very fair to hit them with the -robot output every single time. I'll also consider adding a robot-themed resolution tree, but i'd have to think about the interaction with cybernetics, i'm unsure if they should also benefit from it and if so, by how much.

I also added a crime-focussed civic "pirate haven", the goal is to have someone besides criminal heritage megacorps who can vote for the mischief resolution tree and shake things up in the galactic community.

Pls nerf Health insurance. This is too leftist bullshit that negatively affects the economy, not economic weight. Also AI willingly vote for all medical resolutions

Hey, I have a consistent CTD. This time it happened right after "form galactic market" decision was passed, and after reloading it still crashes the next day. Removing this mod fixed it. Let me know where do I upload the logs or other info you need to help you with debugging. For me the exception in the logs is the unhelpful "Unhandled exception C0000005 (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION)" and other logs were not very informative, so I'm not 100% positive it is this mod that caused it, but again it no longer happens after I've disabled it. Thanks!

I did in fact notice a minor issue upon further investigating, the symbol for ecological protection was broken (initially, the file name of the icon that i had to reference included a typo, paradox fixed this so now i did, too). The patch was playtested and is now available.

@GotWeenies what map sizes are you playing on? Galactic Community needs at least 3 empires to agree to form, and my last two games on small/tiny maps have had the GC not form at all.

@Olafr_the_Viking i can't imagine how any of the files i am overwriting would affect aggression, you could try to use irony mod manager to troubleshoot your issue - it will tell you when two mods overwrite the same file/have a conflict.

Is this incompatible with StarNet AI? StarNet has become less aggressive lately, and I have seen some comments that this mod might be a reason?

My biggest issue with the gal community is that it always forms. Stellaris is about the unlimited stories you can tell and if the gal community always forms that means stories like War Hammer 40k full of darkness or Star Trek where not everybody is part of the federation!
The gal community should not be started and joined by xenophobes.
What would make the gal com barable is if it didnt spawn sometimes based on the ethics and civics chosen. What we need is an AI that weighs it own ethics and civics to decide if it logical for them to join not efficient.
That is a majotr issue with that DLC tho, the AI doesnt roleplay......
