i use modular engines
Sharp  [author] 22 Apr @ 12:57pm
This one is just for normal engines which are very rarely used now

IS THIS BETTER THAN ZE MODULAR ENGINE CONTROLLER? tune in at 3:34 CST to hear more

how am I suppose to hook this up
Sharp  [author] 21 Jul, 2021 @ 2:16pm
its a way to make the clutch more/less aggressive when engaging. so if you set it to 2 it would engage fully at a lower rps then compared to 1 and vice a versa if u set it to 0.5 it would engage fully at a higher rps

Great microcontroller thanks. I have a question about the 'clutch multiplier' property, what does it do?
Sharp  [author] 21 Jan, 2021 @ 4:52pm
no problem, the properties are used in the lua scripts.
In lua you can just use "property.getBool(label)" to get the output of the property instead of writing boolean/numbers to the lua scripts.

Thank you sooo much for this. This does everything I need it to do.
BTW: Why there is a lot of properties that are not connected to anything? Some plans for the future?

Spooky here ya go, still needs some work done on the screen but everything else should be good

not really good at making microcontrollers myself

fuel is based off engine rps so if your running at a higher rps you burn more fuel then if you were at a lower rps
spooky ill look into making a jet engine mc
lucakrowinkel 25 Oct, 2020 @ 7:56am
im like 90 percent sure im doing something wrong speeds are the same as diesel electric but the fuel usage is 12x higher any ideas?

well is it possible to add a rev limiter?
Sharp  [author] 24 Oct, 2020 @ 8:28am
wont work with jet engines as the pids for idle are different and the throttle doesnt take into account to stop rps going above 200 to stop the jets breaking
Cam 23 Oct, 2020 @ 9:25pm
is it possible to use this for jet engines without them over revving
Sharp  [author] 21 Aug, 2020 @ 10:34am
glad your happy

SO COOL! I have 8 large engines on my super tanker and 4 always run too high and this helps me control them so well!
Sharp  [author] 21 Aug, 2020 @ 7:06am
if you mean connecting the pump controls, no they dont affect any of the extra actions they are just their to keep things simple
the extra actions work be default so long as you have everything connected right
in the properties tab you can adjust the extra actions to your liking
this controller doesnt have a max rps as the engines have one by default, if u mean the idle rps that can be adjusted in the properties tab too

This thing is so close to perfect, some questions, do i need to some how connect the extr actions if i want it to turn down the engine if it over heats and how do i adjust the max rps i wish to allow? :)

Thanks for the afford sir!
