These full packs are just compilations of separate replacements I did. They are here for your convenience as I got a lot of requests to do so.
I did multiple different replacements for a lot of things using different styles and approaches.
Beside that, for a long time updating mods wasn't possible, so you had to upload a new mod for every change you wanted to release.
So this is actually a modified variant of my v2 I did after the FE release as kind of an overhaul.
So the answer is 'simple' - they differ in theit style and you should use the one best fitting your likings. This is actually the reason why there are that many screens from mostly the same areas on every mod page.
For it's that many options now I would suggest to open them in your browser to be able looking at multiple screens of the same area at the same time.
I know this becomes more difficult with every upload but with all the screens it should be manageable. :)
After this at your next game start while the intros are playing, AoE saves the downloaded mod to your game folder and extracts it.
If for some reason this don't work (AoEs workshop intergration is really buggy) - open your AoE\mods folder. The mod file is an extensionless zip file, you can easily extract it to your AoE folder manually.
Of course you can simply retry it (unsubscribe, verify your game cache, resubscribe) - but doing it manually is much faster and more stress free. :)
You can find all my mine replacements in this collection:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=169664396
(most of my mods are grouped in themed collections)
Just subscribe to the one(s) you want to use after this mod. Every game file is overwritten by the last subscribed mod changing it.
PS: awesome work m8
Bamboo: FBAM_NN/_N0.slp
Jungle: FJUN
Oak: FOAK
Palms: FPAL
Pine: FPIN
Snow Pine: FSNO
1. Unsubscribe
(2. Delete the mods archive file from your game\mods folder) Not necessary but helps to avoid bugs later.
3. Delete your game\data\slp folder
4. Verify your game cache
5. Wait until all data needed to reset the default is downloaded
6. Restart the game
thank you for answering me! : D
hope you keep doing more mods! they are the best!
You can't check if this was successfull, you can just check the mods content to be present ingame.
In case the archive file is in your mods folder but wasn't extracted, you can just try it again, or extract it manually. The archive is an extensionless zip archive. Just extract it to your AoE folder.
I clicked on subscrible, and put it in my collection, but in time to go to the game I do not find in the game folder.
sorry for my bad english: D
This is no map.
In case you want to use this with original AoE2, the system for the terrains was changed in HD, you can convert them, but it's REALLY time consuming and for classic AoE2 just supports 8bit terrain graphics instead of 32bit, they would loose a lot of color/quality.
onto aoe
