It seems like the power requirements for recharging blasters have greatly increased, some of my grids are no longer functional. Was this a re-balancing choice or is my mod glitched?

I love this mod Wortho! Thank you for keeping it up to date. I am having an issue sometimes tho after the latest weaponcore update where some times the blasters do not recharge. Somehow it seems to right itself in game after a while but I am not sure what could be causing this, may be worth looking into if others are having this issue as well.

Resh & anyone else having issues make sure you enable "Override" in the control panel settings for that weapon, otherwise it will not fire manually. Seems to be a change to Weaponcore after the warfare update as I noticed this with every single weapon (not just this mod)

PS Wortho love this mod, def one of my favs. Small Grid energy weapons are the most neglected type and they are needed so badly!

I also encountered this the other day, they just stopped working for me. Was there a recent game update/hotfix that maybe messed it up? or maybe a weapon core update?

Blasters dont seem to be firing anymore on any of my ships with this mod on them. Is there bug?

I love the diversity of variants, the firing modi, sounds and their model.
I just wish that there would be another mod with the fixed ones and true turret variants, including both fixed & turret for large-grids too.
NGL, would pay for it.

Same issue, for me it appeared with copypasting ships. Even if I grouped two identical blasters.

There appears to be a bug where if you put multiple blasters in a group, upon re-spawning the craft or reloading the world, the group disappears. Could just be me.

@senior with the recent wc update you can now modify the ammo for these weapons to do more damage.

i have three different moded weapon packs on my server all of them do more damage and take less power i added this mod but only one fac used them due to they had so much stuff they can just throw stuff at their enemys if you can . can you make another mod just like this but it makes the damage better?

Hi, I have installed the weaponcore 1.5 and this mod but the weapons dont appear anywhere to create them? I know I am doing something wrong, so any assistance on this would be most appreciated. I am playing an offline single player world in creative.

"Gimballed weapons" That's a sick idea. Would they be turrets technically or would they lock on but still need manual firing?

Holy hell didn't notice I sounded very rude in my previous comment. Sorry. :c

I came to report that I noticed that some of the slow velocity blasters (especially C-50) have a weird effect if you have speed mod that increase the limit at least above 150 (or edits projectile firing speed). If you place multiple C-50 facing your ship's back and then speed up somewhere around 150 m/s, the projectiles go slowly enough to stay still. Makes up a really cool light show in the dark or a explosive "shield", but they do still go sideways because spread.

Also reminds me of an abandoned mod that added a weapon meant for bombing. It fired very slow projectile and was placed behind your ship facing the backside. Then you would sped up towards an enemy, fire the weapon, go away from the projectile's path and watch as it hits the target.

Still, sorry about the rudeness in my previous comment, I was building a blaster tank, but the blaster got stuck and I got mad.

you/anyone know if this is fully multiplayer compatible? i've been having a lot of trouble with all of the weapon core mods together so i'm for now only putting stuff in that explicitly says mp compatible ( game used to crash an awful awful lot and logs suggest it was weaponcore )

These are my favorite weapons out of all weaponcore packs, I like that they are diverse, have the same mounting size for each type, and all serve some purpose or another. The greens are definitely my favorite but I use the other ones too. It feels well balanced, and the energy consumption is significant enough to have to build a ship around it. They are genuinely exciting to use and play with. Is there anything else in the works for weapons similar to these in different form factors?(turrets, large ship mounted guns). It also plays very well thematically with MWI energy weapons, though there just aren't enough of them.

for some odd reason, I can't fire the blasters and I can't bring up that targeting reticle with middle mouse button....did I do something wrong?

I love these! Most energy weapon addons are stupid OP, these are very balanced I feel! Can't wait for the large block variants / turrets! Any news on those being added?

In multiplayer it seems that I can't see when other players are shooting on the server. Is this a serverside issue or something maybe in my graphics settings.

Ideas for energy weapon types you could add:-

Seeking bolts, like halo needler, or just about any mecha anime ever

Energy flak, lots of ways to take this idea, but I kinda want to see a random colour explosion per flak blast, for deadly fireworks displays. Alternatively, explosions being expanding spheres of light or expanding electrical shells like halo plasma grenades (ref: Halo 3 specifically, and as only one layer of the effect)

Very slick VFX. I would suggest an art pass on all the models, but I suspect they are placeholders as things stand now, on account of being the same model with an emissive swap.
Suggestions:

Rapid fire blaster - spinning core, like a gatling gun, think fallout automatic lasers

Scattershot blasters - why not go with Elite's art direction and do something similar to Shock cannon crossed with Frag cannon

high power blaster - I'd go with a railgun aesthetic, with a pair of parallel rails or tines and an emissive glow between them for a particle cannon look. MWI's weapon pack 2's beam lasers are really good. Also good reference: Elite guardian gauss

mid power blaster - so many ways this could go.

here first fighter https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2060658043 i made with this mod more down the line also i don't get why there a color slider in the guns they don't work for me for some reason but still like i said the fightercraft dont need colors also ran test vs one shield mod ya i small ship with 40k shield these can brake it in like 4 secs but i big ship or base with 200k or more it just can't brake a shield that well so there down side if want make a small bomber there other mods for bomber i could use later on when i make a bomber
