I hope you decide to revisit and update the Bloodclot, they're a decently balanced and versatile hero, and barring a minor graphical and audio overhaul they're very good quality.

Bleeds and blights incoming but this guy didnt make to the end of the save, something about him just doesnt click for me but he might work well for others, not too overpowered and not weak either, about on par with vanilla guys...

While I did manage to randomly encounter his uncommon trinket, I tried to force in the Bloodclot's Rare and Very Rare trinkets. Unfortunately, when I try to bring them in by adding them as specific loot to other enemies, the game crashes. No idea why this is the case.

I can't seem to get any of his trinkets, aside from the common ones, to spawn anywhere... is there a trick to getting them, like with the Shieldbreaker?

@Uncanny Gemstar just so you know the image file for the Bloodclot Idle Resolve Level event is broken, there's two "_" in the image file name where there should only be one. Easy fix, and that seems to be the only issue with the event that I can find.

Ссылка: https://disk.yandex.ru/d/_2_wAZAplvaslQ (папку 2060478391локализовано переименовать, стереть слово, оставить только цифры). После в меню игры нажать на молот и включить русифицированый мод, а если есть steam версия мода(выключить её)... Удачи...

For anyone still wondering, I really do intend to eventually refurbish this mod and bring him sounds and fx and such, I'm currently taking a break from modding due to my life being busy and have had a very hard time trying to update his artwork to a state I'm happy with. Its going to happen eventually, but I really don't know when.

His nose is clipping behind his shoulder in an idle position. Need to bring head forward in order body parts towards the camera.

Thanks for the help man, and I wouldn't call it streamlining...or maybe idk what the word means..wait yeah I do. The idea is to make the map flow better but keep the difficulty, I might end up reworking a lot of the baron map, which I just finished. (Another bloodclot was sadly lost, along with my seer, but the Baron falled by my hand, >:( he did not get mercy the fucking bastard. Everytime I try leveling a bloodclot, they fuckin die on me.)

One idea was to have the key placements flow a bit better, along with allowing you to take alternative paths to avoid certain boss fights...downside is that you are gonna be doing a lot of fighting to get there. Still, baby steps first.

I personally don't know how sounds work for darkest dungeon and how to implement them, otherwise i would have used placeholders from the base game already. There are plenty of modders on here and on the Official and Moonlit Dungeon Modding discords who would likely know though, and with luck it shouldn't be more than a few weeks until I can commission custom sounds for the bloodclot if you have the patience to wait that long.

I do look forward to hearing of any results you have with streamlining the crimson court epic missions, the backtracking in particular is abysmal and just adds so much unnecessary length to going through the missions, especially with no campfires unless you get them from a curio. Good luck with your endeavors.

I see, yeah the crimson court has that issue where the maps are scripted, but what we have in those maps is honestly really abysmal. The maps have so much backtracking/dead ends with a really lopsided flow to them, (at least the baron map I am in so far.) to the point where I am actually planning on making my own edits to the baron map. Not really to make it easier, but to make the flow of these maps a lot better, connecting sectors that were cut off originally but keeping that bloodsucker difficulty that we remember it for. To me, there is a limit to how mean you can get.

Also yeah man, looking forward to what you can cook up ^^, although if I may ask, would it be alright if I found some placeholder sounds to put into the bloodclot? Also how would I do that? It's just that as I kept playing, the sound design does way more wonders for satisfaction than I gave it credit for XD.

The Bloodclot can still be infected with the Crimson Curse, as I don't know how to go about making him invulnerable to it, and that I felt that having a character who is completely immune was a bit too strong early on when you dont have a lot of blood, but a drawback later on when you have enough blood to continually have the bloodlust buffs. I may change this in the future however.

Bloodclot was designed to counter the crimson court, as while I enjoyed my first playthrough, I felt that the enemies and the Epic Length missions were too difficult and exhausting compared to the other content. I think I might have overtuned him just a bit, but with bosses like the Baron, I think the crimson court warrants some strength.

Also I agree that being unable to edit comments is obnoxious. I hope that everyone who enjoys the bloodclot will enjoy my next class, it will be very different in both flavor and party role.

I thank you for the advice, I will admit I have been using his CoM trinket along with basically his purge fang, shred, that party heal, and the status infliction, having him basically swap places with someone who can use an ability to back out and give him front lines sometimes and others times fall back to keep the party up with heals. Like I said, versatility is nuts. The extra damage to bloodsuckers makes him pretty fucking good for the crimson court...seriously fuck those maps.

I will try leechbite next time though, probably could swap out purge fangs for it while I'm in the courtyard. Although speaking on that I have a question, apparently the bloodclot can still be infected with the crimson curse. Is this because he apparently has some weird resilience to it implied in the lore, or is it something else? Geninuenly (cant spell its 3 am,) curious at the moment.

Hey, I'm so glad that you liked the class so much Jack the Ripper, and I'm very pleased that he helped you make the close call even if he perished in the end. I recommend the skill Leechbite if you plan to run him frontline if you weren't already, it's very useful for prolonging his survival.

I do have some news for you all as well, I'm working on a second new modded class currently! My art skills have improved noticeably, and i have been in contact about commissioning fx and sounds. Once this other project is finished, I plan to return and redo all sprites and commission sound and fx for the bloodclot.

Also, we've now nearly reached 2,500 subscribers to this mod! I never expected to get this much success and It makes me so happy that the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and supportive. I hope to continue producing high quality content, and with complete honesty, thank you everyone!

I will admit, despite the attack fx's being non existant (I know you are planning on that,) I am glad I gave this class a try. The versatility is pretty nuts, an example being where I was desperate to get two frontliners (the ones that would do it were either too high leveled, the lazy fucks, or underleveled,)

I had to fight the necromancer in a level 3 dungeon, when I got to him, I kept inflicting bleed on him, but I decided to do a gamble when the Bloodclot kept scoring critical hits of 24 damage when the Necromancer was bleeding. I was able to do this to him three times! That was the difference that made that fight go from,"My party is gonna die," to a close call victory...only sad part is the bloodclot died since the only healer I had was an occultist and his heal rolls were 0. If it weren't for those crits with purge fang, the rest of the party would of died.

So yeah, 10/10 class.

辉耀与黯灭 Yeah I could make a mod to add the bloodclot as an abom skin, wouldn't be all that hard. I'm currently preparing for college finals so I'll be occupied for a few weeks, but don't be surprised if that does end up coming out in the future.

Could you pls make a skin mod of abomination based on this? Supreme art, but lack of custom animation just makes this more suit to a skin mod. Maybe another independent skin mod just add to the options?

Hi, Sorry, im not exactly sure what your first question is asking. This version of the mod is currently playable and usable. As for the second question, the art is a little more detailed than it appears, but I intended his skin tone be very pale without considering the effect that bright lighting would have on him. As such, the brightness from the lighting is washing out shading and texture particularly on his skin. I do plan to fix this in the future to account for the effect in game lighting has on his appearance, as well as update other things like trinkets and some icons as my own skill in making art increases, as I made all of the art for this mod myself.

Maybe I misunderstood something.
1) Did this mode already avaliable for play, or its just preparation? (I asked it because of small size)
2) What with his view in game? I dont know, why I dont like his view on pictures. Maybe because he looks quite simple and bright? But maybe in game he looks better?

Hi Raygan, thats because his base chance for blight and bleed is -200%. This is to guarantee that the blight or bleed will only ever proc while he is blighted/bleeding. Therefore the +300 equals out to a 100% chance to proc, meaning enemies are able to resist it. Litmus is working as intended as far as I am aware. Thanks for the intended heads up though!

Not sure if a coding issue but Litmus states that it has 300% blight and bleed chance (pretty guaranteed) if Clotter himself has them, however mobs still seem to be able to resist them atleast from my initial testing.

Yes I did actually use the Abom as the template, but only the human mode, as the Bloodclot doesn't transform. I don't have spine, the program to make a custom skeleton, but Abom's animations worked out pretty nicely for the class.

There really isn't much description or pictures about the class mod, it would be nice to something informative to know what people are downloading, though I'll try it out anyway.
