It works just fine now! Thanks for the fix.

Thank you for catching that and the solution. It is fixed now! Let me know if you see any other issues.

When loading the mod you should get a pop-up called Custom Model. You need to edit the first link, the one in the Model/Mesh field.
Currently it's http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=KmL2AHGj
Change it to http://pastebin.com/raw/KmL2AHGj
Then hit the Import button, and in the alert that pops up click Update.
I suggest then creating a Save Game and loading that when you want to play so you don't need to do this every time.

I can't get the sand tile models to load either, does anyone know how to fix this?
Feral Nebvla 28 Apr @ 3:26pm
The sand tile models are failing to load in for me. Did it break or is it just my computer having issues?

The propeller snap point is in the front because I couldn't get it to stay well/balance in the back. I know it's not correct aesthetically, but functionally it works. Good catch on the print vs printToAll. I fixed it and updated it. Should work now, let me know if it doesn't.

I love this mod a lot. Thank you so much for making it. My only edit that I would really enjoy is the chat messages being sent to all players, ie using printToAll instead of print so that all players can see the message.

Yay.

The propeller's snap point is in the front of the ship when it should be in the back.

It's really well done! Love the script, which sets up everything and also move the sand automatically. Thank you

Awesome. Glad I could contribute.

Perfect, that worked. I'll try and update sometime next week.

@theDissilent, if you can send me that script, that'd be great. I'd love to incorporate your changes. I was aware of the rewind issue. The text change is a good idea. and different elevations makes sense for helping to speed things up.

Hey there. Thanks for this scripted version. It is the best mod of Forbidden Desert in the Workshop.
After playing it with my game group, I tweaked your script a little bit to make a couple things even better, and would be happy to share my changes with you, if you want to include them.
* There's a bug where if you rewind, or otherwise load a save game after setting up the board, it breaks your script.
* While waiting for the tiles to move, I change the button text from "Draw" to "Wait", and then back again when it's done.
* To speed things up, I move all objects in a zone simultaneously. Instead of pausing between each, I have them appear at different elevations, so they can settle together.
Let me know if you want me to send you my script.

@Knaughx thank you so much. I really appreciate that. I love BGG as a site already, so this was a nice surprise.

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

@Time, appreciate you finding that bug. I haven't seen it and wasn't able to replicate. I'm guessing your frame rate is higher than mine. I added a small delay after flipping the sand so that it should always end up on top of the desert tile. Let me know if you still see the problem.

When drawing sandstorm cards that shift tiles. If the tile is already covered in sand, the tile and sand marker move, but the already placed sand marker flips rather then the new one that gets placed on it. What ends up happening is that the flipped sand marker ends up under the tile completely rather than above, and this breaks the draw script if another card is drawn that would move this tile.
