Thanks for the help, I do use your ships alot as I tend to use the same colours lol Love the burnt orange! But yes... Darn them Plugins! Not sure why that one is affecting this ship though but now we know.
Spite  [author] 1 Jun, 2022 @ 9:44am
Ahh, plugins! I forgot about those too :sefacepalm:

But thanks for letting me know, I'll keep it in mind the next time some troubleshooting is needed :selike:
Cpt Pillowy Giant 1 Jun, 2022 @ 8:18am
I did it into a world that had I think just the Build and Repair system... I copyed the bugged ship again and pasted it close to a BARS and it repaired it... though it looked find so I'm not sure but yeah One sec... Ok Vanilla game, Copy of the bugged ship, same thing, toggled power to the block, nope. Toggled grid, same, move the Projector to the left and then back same thing. Very odd thing. OK so took me an hour but I've now worked out whats been going on. Its a Script, Multi-grid Projector by viktor it needs the Plugin Loader that loads with the game, so even with a Vanilla world it still has the plugins loaded... I do feel a little stupid for not thinking about the plugins before though.
Spite  [author] 1 Jun, 2022 @ 6:58am
Hmm, I think you might have found a really interesting bug there.

What happens if you paste that bugged out grid into a different single player game with no mods?

If you like, upload the bugged out version and ink it so I can see if it does the same thing on my side
Cpt Pillowy Giant 1 Jun, 2022 @ 3:59am
So I've Copy/Pasted same thing, I spawn in one, that is 100% fine, I remove the OG projector and use the new one's Projector that has all the settings, past that into place same thing. A brand new projector built in its place, it shows not complete at all, seems it might be something to do with the grid itself, its odd as I've not added anything to it. JUST pasted it into my build world that only has like one or two mods, same thing...
Spite  [author] 1 Jun, 2022 @ 12:12am
Ok, sounds like you have tried all the things I could think of, apart from using admin to copy/paste it (sometimes that exorcises Klang).

If it is not working properly this evening, I'll update the workshop version, sometiems that can fix any weirdness
Cpt Pillowy Giant 31 May, 2022 @ 2:17pm
Hey, Singleplayer have mods and no it was aligned find, I did check, Lifted it up and back into the settings you had in the Projector. Its an odd one but will check again tomorrow sometime just to do some tests.
Spite  [author] 31 May, 2022 @ 9:50am
@Chrisbitz - Unfortunately not, but any sufficiently large wall of welders will work

@Cpt Pillowy Giant - That sounds very strange, I opened up SE and pasted in a copy of the ship to check, and I can't find an issue.

But what could be happening (although maybe you would have noticed already) is that the projector somehow got out of alignment?

If that is not the case, then my next questions is, are you playing in single or multiplayer? and If its multiplayer, are you the host?
Cpt Pillowy Giant 31 May, 2022 @ 6:24am
So I've got this AT 1280 variant and whiel it got damaged, the Projector seems to be telling me a bunch of items are still yet to be build, Large thrusters for one. Three needs to be built, But I'm 90% sure theres only 6 on the AT 1280. I even tried reloading the Projector just to make sure it was the AT variant it had loaded, Moved it out and back in but same thing... Not really sure whats going on though...
Chrisbitz 8 Mar, 2021 @ 4:51pm
I don't suppose you have a BP for a large ship printer that works with the fantastic Hercules?
Spite  [author] 19 Jan, 2021 @ 6:49pm
Thanks SonOfAtoms, I look forward to getting around to building them 😉
SonOfAtoms 19 Jan, 2021 @ 5:11pm
I absolutely love all your designs! I really look forward to the bigger ships and stations you make 🥰
Spite  [author] 15 Dec, 2020 @ 7:00am
Yup, the one miner + one shuttle carrier is on the to do list, but not much is going to be happening for the next two weeks from me ;)

As for stations, they are also on the to do list, but much further down. and yes, I'll make sure they are able to be moved into position
EmberStar 15 Dec, 2020 @ 1:04am
If you ever do end up adding station templates, it might be nice to have something with thrusters - basically something that can be moved into position and then converted into a station (for example to provide safe zone protection over a long period) and then back into a ship to move to the next site. I keep trying to design one myself, and end up with ugly grey bricks. :(
EmberStar 15 Dec, 2020 @ 1:00am
If you're interested in ship type suggestions, I think it might be useful (or at least fun) to have a slightly smaller mining drone carrier. Say, something designed to handle one mining drone, one cargo drone, and a personal shuttle / jump drive. Basically, something to build when someone wants to start mining in a remote area but isn't quite resource rich enough for this class to be easy to build yet. ^-^
Gipsy Danger 1 Dec, 2020 @ 12:16am
Yes, the same happened to me.

I found a way to bypass the whole issue now.

I removed the pipe connecting the junction (right after the Miner Connectors) and the Sorter, replacing it with a Conv. Junction, which I placed a Hydrogen Farm directly on to it. There is even space enough to place a small tank.
Spite  [author] 29 Nov, 2020 @ 7:18pm
I think we may have found a bug.

Checking again this morning, it looks like PAM does put tanks to Stockpile when docked during a job, however when testing it, the tanks won't fill, unless I get into the cockpit.

Was that what happened with you as well?
Gipsy Danger 29 Nov, 2020 @ 11:37am
The Stockpiling worked, just need to find a way to integrate it into PAM and all is good
Spite  [author] 29 Nov, 2020 @ 11:30am
Glad it worked, which one was it? re-piping or using the stockpile on/off?
Gipsy Danger 29 Nov, 2020 @ 11:20am
I tried it the way you suggested and it worked. That will fix it for the moment, thanks a lot :)
Spite  [author] 29 Nov, 2020 @ 7:36am
Ok, so I got a chance to test things out and it looks like I can get the miners to fill their hydrogen tanks, without any changes to the Hercules, but only when the tanks are set to "Stockpile On" which should be on Toolbar 3, button 8 on the miners.

Please let me know if that solved the issue? Thanks!
Spite  [author] 29 Nov, 2020 @ 4:04am
Hi, ok so it looks like I need to do a little bit of re-piping inside the hercules ships. It used to be that H2 could flow backwards through sorters, I haven't actually checked in a while, but I'm guessing that is no longer the case?

No problem, I will update the blueprints to fix it.

What you can do (since your ship is already built) is put another sorter that points into the miner docks, but does not let anything through.

I will put a comment here when I upload the modified blueprint.
Gipsy Danger 29 Nov, 2020 @ 1:34am
Hey Spite, first of all thanks for your amazing BPs. I am using quite a bunch of them for various tasks and they are all pretty awesome.

However, I got a small issue on this one here and cant find a proper solution.

My both Miners, cant get any hydrogen since the conveyor sorter is pretty close to the connectors. Any idea how to bypass that issue?
Rend 31 Oct, 2020 @ 9:35am
Yes, thanks!
Spite  [author] 18 Sep, 2020 @ 9:40pm
Hi there Rend, I'm guessing you mean the toolbar 3 for the miners, rather than this carrier, since toolbar 3 for the Hercules has the sorters instead of PAM controls. Is that right? (Unless I missed something?)

If so, take a look on the workshop page for that ship. In the "Toolbars" section, if the button is for a programmable block, it should have first the name of the PB and then its argument in quotes, for example:

1. PB [PAM] "up"
2. PB [PAM] "down"
3. PB [PAM] "apply"

I hope that is what you were after!
Rend 18 Sep, 2020 @ 3:36pm
I keep having an issue with when damaging the ships the Run toolbar loses the correct arguments
Rend 18 Sep, 2020 @ 3:35pm
Where do I find the correct Run Arguments for toolbar 3?
Spite  [author] 13 Jun, 2020 @ 9:06pm
Hmmm, they should have enough room, but PAM can be temperamental when it comes to using this particular dock configuration (going to be changing it up in the next bunch of miner carrierrs).

One thing you can do is record the PAM path from the dock as low as you can, since PAM wants to come in a certain height above the connector anyway, that helped a bit for me.
Fat Thor 13 Jun, 2020 @ 8:10pm
Any tips to prevent my Agna miners from slamming into my ship when they are coming in to dock?
Spite  [author] 3 Jun, 2020 @ 11:32pm
Hi Speedy, glad you like it!

For setting up the PAM controller you need to go to the custom data of PB [PAM] on each miner and give it a ship name, channel name and set broadcasting to true.

Then also change the Hercules PB [PAM] and do the same, although you won't have to give it a ship name.

Give them all the same channel, make sure all their antennae are on and they should talk to each other, good luck!
Fat Thor 3 Jun, 2020 @ 7:07pm
Loving this ship. Finally allowed me to venture out and find iron. I have 2x Agna tunnel miners on board, how do I set the PAM up from the bridge to harvest this sweet nectar of the gods. And how do I use the button panel? Thanks for the great ship.
AngryDragon 16 May, 2020 @ 8:09pm
I'll give this a try. I think it will do nicely for what I want to do. That docking bay doesn't look all that big, but then again, I guess that my miners are somewhat bigger then those I've seen on your workshop. Problems for me to solve I guess.
Spite  [author] 18 Apr, 2020 @ 12:05pm
Hey there TigersFangs, thanks! that means a lot especially since the Large Grid stuff is still quite difficult, let me know if there are any gaps in the fleet so far that you would like to see filled (bearing in mind I am going from smallest to largest).

And let me know how you like the Hercules series if you get around to using it! :steamhappy:
TigersFangs 18 Apr, 2020 @ 10:13am
Haven't used this BP, just saw it pop up on my feed. It looks AMAZING! I've used some of your BPs in the past and I have to say, I love your designs. You are incredibly good at this and very good at feature integration. WAY better at building than I am. :D Keep up the awesome work! Your designs are an eye opening inspiration. :)
