Thank you jandlml
and thank you vallibus. Any port in a storm I always say. Don't need to get in a line at the exit.
Find your own way. Seems you've been busy in my shop. Enjoy

Well, I didn't complete the map as you intended (according to your playthrough,) but I'm still happy as a clam I was able to exit the chamber. And, after all that gel work, I think I'm qualified to be a house painter.

nice and simple :steamhappy:

Not sure about the terms you used. The gel is available in the second chamber simply by activating the first cube button to remove the fizzler while keeping the door open with the other cube and sphere. Then you can have a gel party in the second chamber. The nice thing about this gel is you can get so many different final outcomes. The original solution is probably not used most of the time. Thank you for trying my little experiment.

I piggybacked (frog-hooped?) a little gel into the last chamber from the first chamber and lucked out. A little stuck to the wall next to the cage. Then I just portaled out of it and catapulted myself to the exit.

I agree. He amazes me with his gameplay. Thank you.

After painting as many walls/floors as I could, I solved the chamber the intended way - using all the elements. Then I watched the Prototype playthrough and found it amazing that he solved it without using the final cube. Now, that's entertainment.

Thanks. The last chamber is a little tricky.

Nice. I was able to complete everything without any problem but the last placement of the gel had me stumped for awhile. Great chamber.

I really enjoyed watching a pro at work. You use the gel as a precise instrument. It does everything you tell it to do. I don't have that knack so I did it the easy way with lasers and flip panels. Good job and I hope you enjoyed the run. Thanks for the video.

Hmm, didn't need either flip panel, the laser, the button that angles a panel or the companion cube... my playthrough: Reflection of a Shadow

I also put gel on the floor, in the area with the 1st cube button.
bypassing part of your puzzle.
I could not get gel on the wall, by the exit, as you did.
watching your video, it seemed to be propeled in a completely different direction,
then magicaly appear there ?
I watched the video twice & perhaps I blinked, but it made no sense, how it happened.
but I got gel on the cieling, so solved the map, that way.

hope this helps.

thankyou for the video.
& for subscribing to my map.
the 1st angled panel, I walked up it, when deployed.
to get to next, higher area, I put gel on floor, as you did & gel on tile neares higher area.
placed portal on middle area & 2nd portal on floor.
then jumped into floor area, & out of portal 1 tile higher.
then steped onto highest area. (no need to go into portal, more than once.)
to make the player do it your way, the tile hieght needs to increase,
between middle & highest area.

not sure if I did the correct solution.
as I fluked some conversion gel on the cieling, in the exit room. (see screenshot below)
but could not repeat this, when tried 3 more times to spread it out.
it was a bit to far from the grating.
so I used it to do a infinite drop.
then moved the cieling portal to the floor.
then aligned one, so I would come up to the gratting & step onto it.
conversion gel is a strange item.
as unintended solutions often appear when using it.
or the difficulty is very high & in some maps monotunus (not monotunus in this map)
I am curious about the intended solution.
but to early for a spoiler video.
