Wanted to mention that the "Gantry Slope Tip" model is slightly offset, makes my builds look jankier than they should
mxforlife 5 Dec, 2021 @ 9:29am
Best "scaffolding" mod out there. Thank you.
[BR]SharkStrike 2 Apr, 2021 @ 7:35pm
Please man. Do not abandon this work.
Include a T transponder.
Rubber Sword 25 Nov, 2020 @ 2:44pm
Love this mod. I second the request for a T-conveyor.
Amos Burton 6 Nov, 2020 @ 5:46am
@ Lance, could you create a T Conveyor and a 6 way conveyor. corner 2x1x1 etc..
Amos Burton 2 Nov, 2020 @ 7:01am
Awesome to hear. No rush. Love this gantry model. What’s the difference on the 2 models. One is gs other is not.
Lance  [author] 2 Nov, 2020 @ 6:25am
Windows will likely be next. That said, I am not sure how long it will be. I am a coder, not a modeler, and I hate art projects. I only took this project because I like Gantry that much.
Amos Burton 2 Nov, 2020 @ 12:49am
any chance we can get the windows, wheels, curved blocks.
MisterMann 15 Sep, 2020 @ 7:05pm
Now all we need is some Gantry window panels and then will see what creativity sparks from that.
[82DK] wyomingwolf 7 Sep, 2020 @ 10:42am
Do enjoy this mod for it gives hangars and other structures life without having to grind things down and not fight the Nanobot builder
Gromit 7 Sep, 2020 @ 4:21am
@Lance: thanks a lot for your work. Really appreciated :-)
Lance  [author] 6 Sep, 2020 @ 2:44pm
Slope base, slope tip, half slope, and curved conveyor tube added. I think I have had enough labor for my Labor Day weekend. :steamhappy:
Mad Dan Eccles 4 Sep, 2020 @ 5:36pm
Thanks for this amazing mod.
Lance  [author] 4 Sep, 2020 @ 2:15pm
Half block added. I will be working on the slope base and tip this weekend. Conveyor slope will follow, but I am not sure exactly when. My blender skills are still weak.
Markbnj 18 Aug, 2020 @ 9:49am
Just wanted to give a shout out. Tried this mod last night and ended up replacing all my unwelded light armor blocks supporting my windfarm. The gantry blocks look awesome and really fill a hole in the game's block set. Thanks for the hard work!
Corina Skymouse 13 Aug, 2020 @ 3:41am
That kind of block was really missing in the came. Great Job!!!
maybe a half block version?
hangar-8 13 Jun, 2020 @ 4:46am
A conveyor corner, in the works, perhaps? Maybe ;)
Awesome work btw, and many thanks:)
Battlemage 24 May, 2020 @ 4:48am
Oh man, this is going to be awesome in designs. Nice way to get the gantry effect without the partially ground blocks always getting built up by build and repair systems.
AngryDragon 20 May, 2020 @ 1:57am
Speak of the devil... I was looking for something like this today, couldn't find anything at all that satisfied me and then this shows up in most popular.
Peter34 18 May, 2020 @ 7:57pm
So the mats for a Gantry block still takes up significantly more volume than the mats for a Light Armor Block?

Is that a good idea? 102 liters vs 75 liters?
black_dragon1230 18 May, 2020 @ 12:47pm
Man i love this mod!!! This is something the base game should have had. Since i discovered this mod i use it almost every large grid build. Thank for you making it.
Brille2K 18 May, 2020 @ 8:27am
This is a cool Mod and i love it! only thing i miss is convyer turn on this ;D
Lance  [author] 11 May, 2020 @ 6:12pm
@Locksy: NICE! Makes it all worth the effort.
Lance  [author] 11 May, 2020 @ 6:09pm
I had not considered the volume requirements. I traded a couple of large tubes for steel plates. This reduced the volume by 70L while slightly increasing integrity and decreasing ingot cost.
Peter34 11 May, 2020 @ 7:28am
Drastically reducing the cost in Large Tubes might help? I think the cubic ones cost 3 Large Tubes, so reduce that to 1.
mxforlife 11 May, 2020 @ 4:27am
I really like the idea of this mod. But I do see a problem.
The items needed to craft 1 Light Armor block takes up 75L Volume, but the items for 1 Gantry block takes up 172L Volume.
Giving the effekt that fewer Gantry blocks then Light Armor blocks (that have higher integrity) can be crafted with what you can carry. It's the Large Steel Tubes that's the cullprit.
Sure the weight of the items for the Gantry block is less, but the game mainly limits volume.
Mach1Greeble 10 May, 2020 @ 9:22pm
Bruh, thanks for the conveyor version! It really ties the station together. https://streamable.com/i6pb3t
oneDRTYrusn 10 May, 2020 @ 6:11am
This mod should be absorbed into the game. Until then, this should be in everybody's mod list.
Lance  [author] 9 May, 2020 @ 2:55pm
Inspired by a suggestion and a trade station I encountered the other day, I have added a conveyor gantry tube.
AsvagarKael 9 May, 2020 @ 7:53am
shiny! can't wait for those. will make my Sunless Skies stuff look really good then. cheers
Lance  [author] 9 May, 2020 @ 6:51am
I plan to add the slope base/tip and half block, but more complex shapes like the corners are a long way off. Round ones will be last.
AsvagarKael 8 May, 2020 @ 3:21pm
any chance there will be the other block versions any time? the sloped and corner ones, and round ones? would love those for an idea i'm working on
Lance  [author] 7 May, 2020 @ 4:28pm
It should not. It will kill mine if it does. :steamsad:
Peter34 7 May, 2020 @ 1:00am
Will this affect on-going games?
Lance  [author] 6 May, 2020 @ 6:25pm
Collision meshes and mirroring fixed! :steamhappy:
Reepotah 29 Apr, 2020 @ 3:02am
Hello. I suggest you to come to Keen's official discord server, as it's the only reliable source for help and info on SE modding right now. SEUT and other tools authors are there, together with many other big modders, and they're happy to help. Me included, tho I also just started learning all this stuff.
Lance  [author] 28 Apr, 2020 @ 8:46pm
I am working on the collisions. Turns out that I used an old set of modding tools which introduced other issues I did not notice. So, in addition to learning how to use Blender, I am learning how to use the new tools, in a "one step forward, two steps back" sort of way. :steamfacepalm:
Reigdaer 28 Apr, 2020 @ 5:26pm
i dont know if this is how it should work, but the half block has the same collition as the cube
Lance  [author] 27 Apr, 2020 @ 6:24pm
Yes, the gantry blocks use fewer iron ingots to construct than light armor blocks, and, like all blocks, they do conduct power.
Peter34 27 Apr, 2020 @ 3:57am
Sorry for being a noob, are these actually cheaper to construct, in Iron Ingots, than the Light Armour blocks? And do they conduct electrical power?
FartyParty 24 Apr, 2020 @ 1:24pm
Sounds good... looking forward to the update. For now I've replaced my corner gantry with stairs as to not confuse myself. :)
SultonMRP 23 Apr, 2020 @ 5:45pm
Made it public, thanks again Lance
HappyGasmaskNoises 23 Apr, 2020 @ 3:25pm
Thank you.
Lance  [author] 22 Apr, 2020 @ 2:45pm
@SultonMRP: I do not mind.

@FartyParty, @Simon Jeeha: Unfortunately, I have not fixed collision meshes or mirroring. I am a coder, not a modeler. :) That said, I will definitely be learning blender to continue improving the mod.
Simon Jeeha 22 Apr, 2020 @ 11:53am
hey i noticed an error with mirroring not working correctly i dont want to bother you but maybe you can do somthing about that
rengcor 22 Apr, 2020 @ 7:40am
nice
FartyParty 21 Apr, 2020 @ 5:44pm
I noticed you can't run up the side of the corner
block. Does it use the same clipping as the whole block?
SultonMRP 21 Apr, 2020 @ 2:30pm
Wow, very nice. I have a request, mind if modify this, i want to make a version that works with graphene armor mod (using graphene parts for more durability) ill have it unlisted on workshop if ya don't want no one to use graphene version.
(R&D)-Frosty 21 Apr, 2020 @ 12:59pm
I might just ask the owner of the TYTO server to put these in. They look cool. and YES, its about time.
FlakMagnet 21 Apr, 2020 @ 11:42am
Thanks to Lance for updating my tired old mod and bringing it up to current spec. I did it initially because I was fed up with using unfinished blocks to get a look I liked..and then either having them too flimsy...or getting accidentally welded. So I made these....a long time ago! Lance approached me about an update...and I said 'go for it'! Nice to see my old stuff getting a new lease of life :)
