the name of the ship is quite ironic, such a beaut!

@Sebkabal No need for pardon, this "ship" was uploaded for your enjoyment used as you pleased.... I would love to see where you took this build....
Sebkabal 13 Mar, 2021 @ 7:33am

Sir,

Pardon me but ... I "borrowed" your ship... and well... erm , it seems I've made it travel a bit far beyond what you had in mind ... :)

Thanks AnOX,

Hopefully you can see there:

Unlike your excellent build I couldn't have built mine without mods. The main one being the Repulsor engines which provide the lift needed, the Hydrogen engines are there for aesthetics. If I had to use vanilla thrusters it would never leave the ground.

Lots of mods used but these are them main ones.
[Star Wars] Modular Repulsor Lifts
Nanobot Drill and Fill System
Nanobot Build and Repair System
PassageIntersections (for the great airlock)

Again, thanks for the inspiration, I'm terrible at build large builds from scratch.

Matt

@Kazagistar Thank You for your comment, I'm glad that you like it

Inspiring stylization. I love how the bottom is a bit rustier then the top.

This gives me Sand Crawler from star wars Vibe

@futonga futtonda Thank you for your comment and for noticing, it was a challenge to squeeze (all) into narrow hull Please make sure you will drop me a link to your version, I would love to see spacefaring version of it...

Very fun to walk around in and incredibly efficient use of space! Makes it kinda hard to improve though, haha (where could these damn jump drives go??? :P (workin on a space-able version>w> rn)) ..thanks lad!!
Skellitor301 21 Apr, 2020 @ 10:21pm
@AnOx Oldhide Np, Hopefully they'll add support for subgrids to projectors, but until then we'd have to spawn in awesome builds like this :)
CaffeneProblems 21 Apr, 2020 @ 10:48am
Looks like you could move AT-ATs in this thing.

farfigneuton 20 Apr, 2020 @ 3:19pm
NO DLC!?!?!
McTec Ind. 20 Apr, 2020 @ 7:18am
Sooo... Ugly. No seriously. Looks good. It has that industrial/beaten look you get from wear and tear. It just feels right. Well done. Upvoted.
AnOx Oldhide  [author] 20 Apr, 2020 @ 7:08am
@The Nuclear Dragon... Unfortunately station visible on some of the screenshots is very much "Hollywood" style decoration, beyond camera there is nothing but desert, all was made from prefab elements...
The Nuclear Dragon 20 Apr, 2020 @ 6:10am
I want that station in the background, too. Just from the pictures this is a really cool drill ship/platform.
AnOx Oldhide  [author] 20 Apr, 2020 @ 5:56am
@Skellitor301... In that case I take it back, it's not survival ready. I used rotors to attached "hover" pods and spotlight tower at the top, also drill is connected via set of pistons. This build was an attempt to recreate an artwork that I have found online (link in description) and as I was progressing I have added some functionality. Thank You for valid lesson
Skellitor301 20 Apr, 2020 @ 5:23am
Are there any subgrids? If you dont know what those are, basically any grids that are connected via piston, rotor, and wheels are considered subgrids, and if that's the case then that wouldn't make a build survival ready. Reason for this is due to projector blocks not supporting subgrids and it will leave off anything connected to piston and rotor heads. Wheels can be spawned in so they're not as big of an issue.
Dead-Undertaker 20 Apr, 2020 @ 3:50am
I'd be happy to. I'm going to take a closer look at the ship. I have already converted many ships that I had as a blueprint, unfortunately the best are only dazzling, where most installations are not connected, so they are very useless for beginners
AnOx Oldhide  [author] 20 Apr, 2020 @ 3:38am
Thanks for the script recommendation and your comment...
Dead-Undertaker 20 Apr, 2020 @ 2:01am
Great job, I think the ship is very successful. I use this script to sort the containers https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1216126863 it is a lot more performance happy than the Taleden´ Inventory Manager. I use the following script for the doors: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1751168996 this is also much easier to use than anything else.

Thank You to All for a very nice comments...
AnOx Oldhide  [author] 20 Apr, 2020 @ 1:20am
@Skellitor301 "Ugly" has pressurised crew compartment with medical station. All storage, mining, refinery and assemblers are connected. It's survival ready as far as I'm aware...
Thipp 20 Apr, 2020 @ 12:45am
This is one of the coolest designs I have seen. Very interesting aesthetic.
Skellitor301 19 Apr, 2020 @ 6:58pm
Is this survival ready or no?
Moraa 19 Apr, 2020 @ 5:55pm
That is awesome, to do something like that. Looks good, great job
AnOx Oldhide  [author] 19 Apr, 2020 @ 8:03am
Thank you for all nice comments, much appreciated...
J4R 19 Apr, 2020 @ 7:57am
Brilliant. So simple overall shape, but amazing detail.
Taidyr 19 Apr, 2020 @ 7:35am
Beautiful.
Remnant-11254 19 Apr, 2020 @ 5:54am
looks like something from Simon Stalenhag books thats awsome
AnOx Oldhide  [author] 18 Apr, 2020 @ 1:37pm
Thanks, I would recommend ORP "Wilk" it is not in the same theme but is fairly detailed and spend some time to make it. You may check as well HME "Crab" and Zoomer those small builds go well with "Ugly".... Enjoy
Bi0HazardXIII 18 Apr, 2020 @ 10:20am
More? Is there more? I really like the robust design!
AnOx Oldhide  [author] 16 Apr, 2020 @ 10:17pm
Thank You...

God I love this design! Outstanding. Seriously.:steamhappy:
