Must have been very unlucky timing on my side! When I started it up again just now, there were 0 issues, so issue solved I guess :D
Thx for the mod
However, when I start it up, I get a load of messages that I need to import stuff, but its all failing. Error messages like: "cannot resolve destination host at... "
Is it possible some of your files are no longer accessible? Can you repair this?
Much obliged
Under the Options menu/Hands there is a setting for "Disable Unused", I noticed last night when I was looking at those settings that that boxed unchecked itself when I hit Restore to Default, but I didn't notice the effect on the cards at the time.
If you check that box, you can see both player's cards. That is how this module is loading by default at the moment ( I deleted the mod last night and just added it about 5 minutes ago on a fresh install of TTS). Unchecking that box corrects this issue and hides the other player's hand from view.
So if you are having the issue of being able to see both player's cards:
Go to Options at the top of the screen and select "Hands"
Then uncheck the box for "Disable Unused"
Should fix it.
Not sure where else to look.
I appreciate the effort that went into making the mod, I made a few (since deleted) myself back when TTS was new and I know it can be...quirky. But currently every other mod I tried worked as expected. As they say around my neck of the woods, "sum'n ain't right".
I will delete the mod, verify TTS files in Steam and reload the mod and see what happens.
Cheers!
I tried deleting the hand zones and making new ones, but they still show the cards to all players. Moving or resizing the hand zone had no effect.
Added a new color and gave it a hand zone. All the other colors could see any cards placed in that hand as well. Looked through the various properties and settings that might apply and didn't see anything weird.
Hidden zones work as expected. Fog of War works as expected.
To be continued due to character limit:
As fabulous as Tabletop Simulator is, on occasion, weird things occur. These normally settle down after a day or two. If you track back through the comments, other strange glitches have been spotted which seem to correct or disappear shortly after being discovered. This is the first time I've heard of the player hands being visible, and nobody so far has had this issue. Up to now, the cards appear in your hands as they should and they're only visible to the player who's hand it is. I'd put this down to TTS having 'a moment'. I'm sure things will straighten out soon. But thanks for raising the issue...I'll be sure to check up on it in a day or two and figure things out if the problem persists.
Are you up for doing the second one when it comes out? Undaunted : North Africa ?
The collection used this priority system:
1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.
Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.
Thanks for your hard work!
