Any chance to include the Reinforcements expansion so we have solo play?
NulSec 15 Oct, 2024 @ 10:16am
This is awesome. I have the $15 version from Steam, and this one actually helps you learn the game better, because you have to handle the cards, etc. Thank you for this. I know it's over a year old already, but I was wondering if you've ever done any of the expansions...? Anyway, thanks for your efforts. If you're on Patreon on have a donation link - let me know. e

Hey thx for quick reply
Must have been very unlucky timing on my side! When I started it up again just now, there were 0 issues, so issue solved I guess :D
Thx for the mod

Hi iNoob, thanks for raising the issue. I've just loaded the mod myself with no problems (I have cache switched off so it has to load all assets from scratch). At the time of this response I notice you posted your message 3 hrs ago so maybe the location where the images were stored was experiencing internet problems? Might be worth another go now?
iNoob 9 May, 2023 @ 11:56am
Hi, thanks for the mod.
However, when I start it up, I get a load of messages that I need to import stuff, but its all failing. Error messages like: "cannot resolve destination host at... "
Is it possible some of your files are no longer accessible? Can you repair this?
Much obliged

Hi FunkyGibber great work on the game. I just noticed a slight bug, going from playing scenario 12 to scenario 1. The cards on the German side of the table are not being wiped away, which gives extra cards for scenario 1. :-)

Sure enough.

Under the Options menu/Hands there is a setting for "Disable Unused", I noticed last night when I was looking at those settings that that boxed unchecked itself when I hit Restore to Default, but I didn't notice the effect on the cards at the time.

If you check that box, you can see both player's cards. That is how this module is loading by default at the moment ( I deleted the mod last night and just added it about 5 minutes ago on a fresh install of TTS). Unchecking that box corrects this issue and hides the other player's hand from view.

So if you are having the issue of being able to see both player's cards:
Go to Options at the top of the screen and select "Hands"
Then uncheck the box for "Disable Unused"
Should fix it.

Its probably a TTS setting. I think I remember there is a show all cards setting which allows you to learn a game with all cards being shown. Don't quote me on this I rarely use TTS these days.
badinfo 15 Jan, 2023 @ 12:23am
Not only can I see my opponents cards, but I can manipulate them in his "hand", flipping them to show front or back. When I try that in other mods, the cards "flip" but shows the back at all times and do not reveal the faces.

Not sure where else to look.
I appreciate the effort that went into making the mod, I made a few (since deleted) myself back when TTS was new and I know it can be...quirky. But currently every other mod I tried worked as expected. As they say around my neck of the woods, "sum'n ain't right".

I will delete the mod, verify TTS files in Steam and reload the mod and see what happens.

Cheers!

I tried about a dozen other mods, the various Undaunted mods plus a random selection of other mods that have player hands. All worked as expected.

I tried deleting the hand zones and making new ones, but they still show the cards to all players. Moving or resizing the hand zone had no effect.
Added a new color and gave it a hand zone. All the other colors could see any cards placed in that hand as well. Looked through the various properties and settings that might apply and didn't see anything weird.

Hidden zones work as expected. Fog of War works as expected.

To be continued due to character limit:

Hi Badinfo and Thulsa_Doom.

As fabulous as Tabletop Simulator is, on occasion, weird things occur. These normally settle down after a day or two. If you track back through the comments, other strange glitches have been spotted which seem to correct or disappear shortly after being discovered. This is the first time I've heard of the player hands being visible, and nobody so far has had this issue. Up to now, the cards appear in your hands as they should and they're only visible to the player who's hand it is. I'd put this down to TTS having 'a moment'. I'm sure things will straighten out soon. But thanks for raising the issue...I'll be sure to check up on it in a day or two and figure things out if the problem persists.
badinfo 14 Jan, 2023 @ 11:35am
I can see the other player's cards in their "hand". It works properly on the other guys scripted mod, but I like the layout of this mod better. Can this be fixed so I cannot see my opponent's hand?
Tommy_Brown 29 Oct, 2022 @ 1:48pm
Can cards be added to personal hand? Or only on table to be peeked at?
Drammin 20 Jun, 2022 @ 4:07pm
Awesome. Thank so much for including the set up as I think the lack of set up for games with variable starting set ups is a major negative of TTS, especially when compared to Vassal.
SASQUATCH 8 Jan, 2022 @ 2:59pm
Thank you for the mod! Can't wait for Reinforcements to arrive.
Clovis de Versailles 30 Oct, 2021 @ 10:47pm
Don't have a hand's players.

Est-ce qu'il y a des joueurs parlant Français?
Zelda Stevo 2 Mar, 2021 @ 7:32pm
For what it's worth, I only had the issue for that day. The next day the buttons were there and have been ever since. Not sure what was going on those first few times booting it up.
FunkyGibber  [author] 2 Mar, 2021 @ 2:24pm
I've noticed a couple of weird things happening since the last update. Zelda and Fox, I too have seen these issues. Everything was working perfectly well until the last update. I'll sort them out when I can find a few minutes. Thanks for pointing them out.
Fox 2 Mar, 2021 @ 2:08pm
Great mod. The US Platoon Guide card has a check position button on top. :)
Zelda Stevo 21 Feb, 2021 @ 1:26pm
There are no buttons in the middle of the table to setup a scenario. Clicking on one of the scenario cards just picks it up and drops it. Is there an option somewhere to turn buttons on/off that I'm missing?
Mr. PicklePot 28 Jan, 2021 @ 3:14am
I'd be down to play this with you or anyone else, really.
Nase36Nase 10 Nov, 2020 @ 4:27am
i am looking for players ^^ would love to play it against a player
alphuzah 21 Aug, 2020 @ 1:31am
Really slick setup scripting – nice job :)
beardmancer 11 Aug, 2020 @ 7:10pm
I've got a physical copy and a decent scanner. Would be happy to collab with you to get this set up if you're interested. DM me if you'd like to try it.
FunkyGibber  [author] 27 Jul, 2020 @ 10:15am
Thanks for all your lovely comments. I'm just happy folks are enjoying the mod. As far as Undaunted North Africa goes, I don't have a physical copy of that yet, and I don't have a scanner so I'd need the card scans etc. before I could start putting a version together. However, it'd be something I'd be interested in doing if and when the assets become available.
DeathOfRats 27 Jul, 2020 @ 8:02am
Brilliant mod, love the automation/scripting and the whole layout with the rules/scenarios all on hand. Thanks!
manusnoble 20 Jul, 2020 @ 1:21am
Any plans to do Undaunted North Africa? I own the game but would love to play it online. Have been enjoying this mod SO much over the last months, thank you!
Midpoint 12 Jul, 2020 @ 12:38pm
This is the single best implementation of a game I have seen so far on TtS. Thanks for your time and effort.
fabo 12 Jul, 2020 @ 12:21pm
Looking for Undaunted player to go through the campaign and get ready for when North Africa shows up in TTS!
xXx PATMANN xXx 2 Jul, 2020 @ 7:14pm
Awesome thanks man! just waiting for my physical copy to come in the mail.

Are you up for doing the second one when it comes out? Undaunted : North Africa ?
andy.cotgreave 29 Jun, 2020 @ 3:17pm
Hi - I'm playing this with a friend on Wed. Setup looks great. One qu: is there a way to tear down the scenario after play? Or is reloading the mod the easiest way to do it?
sevey13 1 Jun, 2020 @ 8:30am
Thank you.
FunkyGibber  [author] 1 Jun, 2020 @ 12:25am
No problem sevey13. Just click on your name (top right of the screen) and choose colour.
sevey13 28 May, 2020 @ 11:01am
This is probably the most obvious question but I am new to TTS, but I am struggling to figure out how sit at the table and "claim" a faction. I get automatically seated in other games I've played, but I don't see my name in front of either faction here.
twinny28 23 May, 2020 @ 12:22am
Hi let me know if you are interested in playing?
Knaughx 12 May, 2020 @ 12:39pm
Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

hello

Very well done. Thank you!
PartTimeJedi 25 Apr, 2020 @ 6:06pm
This is now my favorite Undaunted Normandy mod - it's great. I love the layout. There are 3 improvements that would make it perfect: 1) Organize the "Store", where squads and card type (rifleman, scout, etc) are in rows and columns, with the others (sniper, fog of war, etc) wherever they fit 2) Add a way to return to the scenario selection without starting a new game (if it exists, I haven't found it) 3)Add a spot for each side to place their initiative card, maybe around the initiative token
DoctorDH 25 Apr, 2020 @ 9:56am
Fantastic work with this port! Highly recommend.
timmontana 25 Apr, 2020 @ 9:45am
A fantastic game both on the table and on TTS.

This is a cracking mod that and although I played it solo to learn the rules, I'm now looking for a physical copy and want to play against someone!
