To make the tactic cards that influence the trackers count, play them to the soldiers area. The tracker should adjust accurately. Similarly, Oishi Saito’s tokens will automatically adjust the tracker. The notebook explains this in more detail if you need it, but let me know if it is for some reason not working for you and I’ll fix it.
A script to make Alfonso and Geralt’s rewards easier will be coming soon.
It would be great if someone could do some tests and let me know if they run into any issues.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and please spread the word about the mod. ;-)
The score calculator bug has been updated and should be fixed now. It was a mathematical error that was introduced when I updated the board with the new graphics.
I'll add Saito's ability to my To Do list. When my group plays, we just mentally include Saito without moving the trackers at the end of the battles. I like the idea of adding a 6-card Saito deck to do this, rather than doing it automatically.
The only other thing that stood out was that it would also be nice for Oishi Saito's +2 combat to be factored in right away in combat without turning off the tracker. I guess we could just put two guards in to compensate for it. Maybe have his own deck of +2s, so Alfonso knows he can't take those, as they arnt 'real soliders'?
Anyway, great work! Curious on your thoughts on the scoring, is it intentional balancing?
Let me know how it goes. I tested it as much as I could so hopefully you won't run into any bugs with the hiding, but if you do let me know. You can always disable any of the scripted features.
The double influence was actually just two influence but I can see the confusion. I uploaded new card artwork that says "Two Influence" to eliminate any confusion.
Since the mod is getting a good amount of subscribers, I figured I'd add some code to show/hide your loot and coins. There is a new button now that will do just that. It is not heavily tested so please let me know if you run into any issues with it.
Great mod, can't wait to play it later tonight. Thanks a lot.
I had an observation :
The house support cards in the original game is worth 2 support for this house. It does not double the support like in this mod.
Also, a minor one, the money is hidden in the original game. I'll add some hidding blocks.
There is still some artwork that could be turned into more characters, I could add on-board final scores, I could add physical castle models for the battle trackers, I could script the battle resolutions, I could make the card art for the battles/kennels match the style of the board a little better, etc. :-)
