Is the SR2 supposed to have a 500m/s max speed? That's faster than fighters and it is a destroyer.

Something strange I noticed in the Eos class ships: There are invisible "bounding areas" around the M sized landing pads, that make takeoff/landing exceptionally difficult, inefficient, and quite impossible at times. I am using the Eos MK III, presently, and this affects both player and AI.

alot of the main weapons overheat way too quickly or are stuck on permanent overheat. could you please look into this?

Do you still use X4 6.2?
I think there wasnt a 2.3.0 version of VRO addon. The latest 6.2 version was 2.3.1.

Please unarchive latest VRO addon for 6.20 version of the game on nexusmods. Also for some reason mainfile part2 v2.3.1 is archived, but v2.3.0 is not. I think it should be vise versa

throw in odd ships as deralic ship shatter around the map leave that one up to you ...and if you do decide and are able to(purddy please) make it compatibe with the rebalanced mod by (someone) ... cuz ships in this game are all glass cannons in my not so humble opinion ;p
and another thing,,, even in normal mode they have (((way to many ships))) at the start ...wall thats my 2 cents...buh bye

hi, the idea of your mod is nice ... but... some of the ships that are cobbled together ...they look ... dumb ...sorry .. it would be really cool if you could use some the star wars ships .. the ossian raides .. use all the imperial ships ...especially the sith ships :p (if you can get permission of course ) maybe replace the silly looking cobbled ship with ships from eve online ...(as advanved warships.. maybe make it their home fleet) and give 1,fleet to every faction amar ships for the paranid, split/minmitar, borons/galantie caldarie for argons ... teladie some csi the ones with the donut ships ,,,

The Albatross MK1 and MK3 cannot shoot them (the rings interfere), as they are exhibited forward by the nose for firing with the main guns.

Battlestar XL Artillery on paper looks extremely under powered for the high cost

-23M per turret (other L's are 500k-1.5M max)
-Only 1000MW damage (1500-2000 On other turrets)
-Only 10km range (others have up to 20)

might get one to test but something seams off there

The R9s are missing their IGs, they regen shields very very slowly.

Please update the mod as the specs of XL ships have been changed in VRO.
I'll give an example:
Fulmar: 1,250,000 hull.
Albatross ROR 1,050,000 hull.
The price of Albatross mk1 is 78kk
Fulmar price - 42kk

Hi again Guys,

With a big help from DeadAir and Drexia I managed to prepare the new version of VRO that works with ToA DLC, you can grab it here:

It will still lack some polish (like new sounds for guns) but at least VRO now works with DLC and all ships/weapons should be balanced accordingly.
I still dont have access to steam or nexus mods, so google drive download is only option for now, sorry for inconvenience.

Which ship was you using and which was ORA using?
In general, most ships of this mod are a bit stronger as vanilla ships, because they are classified as battleships like the Terran Asgard.

Does the ORA faction get additional buffs? In a fight, an Mk1 destroyed my Mk1, even though it was already on half health and 25% shields before the fight. Is this intended or a mod conflict with some other mods I have installed?

Arawn MK1 and MK3 cannot be supplied with Ion projector XL with VRO.
Albatross MK1 and MK3 cannot be fitted with the Positron Beam Turret from VRO.

The fact is that your version of the ships does not have compatibility with the High-Energy turret:

M3 of Albatross Mk3 will be fixed in the next version.
Can you tell me at which ships you cant place XL turrets?
I checked all Mk1 and Mk3 and there are 2 ships without XL turrets (Taranis, Sucellus) which is intended.

I know you are busy and probably already aware of this bug but I feel like I should bring it up anyway.
It looks as thought adding sheilds to the SR2 is now no longer an option for me after adding VRO and this mod. I click the sheilds tab but then it is just blank with a small text box.

The ships got always the internal shields, but the old way was hiding these in the shipyard.
With latest patch, they are shown in the buildmenu.

VRO has new shield mechanics. Each raid has its own shield, depending on the model.
