Hi! So, the way this mod works requires that any players be in the lobby at the same time, doing so asynchronously would introduce a lot more questions and potential for abuse (imagine that in public lobbies...). She would need to do it herself since she was not there at the time the sync was sent!

So I have this and it works, but I decided to play by myself a bit since there was a Death Wish that was hard to do together while my partner was offline. Now that I did them, its not syncing the progress I did on my own to her account. Should she have it when in a room with me or does she have to do it herself too now since she wasn't there?
We did all other progress together and it worked perfectly fine to be clear! :)

Does anyone know if achievements are working for all players?

Not quite, unfortunately boss fights are their own special trouble due to something called "alwaysloaded" which makes it very difficult to mess with them. Most level progression things aren't controlled by this, ex. Ship Shape tasks won't sync, the bomb timer, but level flags like the subcon walls or the alpine horns will, since those are easy to track.

If someone was ambitious enough, I'm sure those things could be done too, it's just a lot harder to accomplish!

Correct me if I'm wrong but this does sync level progression, so it only takes 1 player to trigger the Train Rush bomb timer, for example. Does this also let players play boss fights together?

Im a little confused as both me and my friend installed the mod and have everything enabled. we made a private lobby but still we dont seem to be getting each others stuff at all. I dont see anyone else having problems with it, so im pretty lost rn.

As far as I'm aware I haven't heard of anything that should be breaking this mod! I'm currently in the long haul process of completely rewriting this one from scratch, so unfortunately I won't be able to update it until I have that far enough that I'm happy with it.

Unfortunately no! Ship Shape is a huge task to sync and would require its own mod to really cover its scope, the only thing that will sync is the full stamp clears of the Ship Shape Death Wishes.

This mod is for Online Party and specifically for collectibles, so things like Time Pieces and Yarn. It tries to give a closer experience to local co-op, but it does not sync things like bosses or enemies as those are much more difficult to do.

Nope! This mod is primarily for syncing collectibles, something like that is up to the mod makers of Shadow Puppet Plus to implement for themselves

Ah, I bet the ticket gates need to be refreshed when you get a new pass like that. If I ever update again I'll be sure to get that fixed!

This is an extremely useful mod, though I have noticed it has some slight issues in Nyakuza in particular. In order for everything to properly sync up you need to return to the ship and then go back in the level. Not too big of a deal, but it does stop you from using a metro pass if someone else buys it while you both are in the level until you reload it.

Happens with a lot of mods sadly, don't think anyone is too sure what the specific cause is.

It only syncs things collected WHILE you play together

This looks amazing, I've been looking for a way to play co-op with my online friends without using Remote Play! A quick question, though: If I join my friend's file while using my 100% complete file, will it automatically give her everything I've collected before? Or does it only sync things someone collects WHILE you're playing together?

Well, that's actually out of my area of expertise, haven't touched much in terms of in-level syncing. I was referring to it being possible to implement within your own mod separately. Are you in the Main Hat Discord? There's a modding section there that might be able to help!

Any chance you can help with that? either by adding it to the mod, or sharing the method to implement it? The lack of syncing is the last thing for my map to go fully public. I am happy to link it to you so you can see.

This mod does not handle that form of syncing, but it is possible to implement things like that!

That’s the entire point of the mod, if you have it enabled in a large online party (peck) you’re bound to have someone sync a bunch to you at once. It’s recommended for small organized groups on new files or to at least change your config settings to ensure you don’t sync what you don’t want.

Is there a glitch(??) where you randomly earn someone's cosmetics and badges and stuff? I just got a ton of them, including rewards from Death Wish and I'm rlly upset I couldn't earn them myself. Unsubbing, restarting the game, and disabling mods outright didn't help either.

1. Are you both on the same Team or both on No Team (check the config settings)
2. Is absolutely everything not syncing? What have you tried?
3. Make sure all your config settings match your friend.
