Almost all raider factions will do that. Given the way the game works there's a choice of only two teams to put a custom faction on of which most raider factions use the same one while The Hive and Rebellious MocX use the other one. Thus if you get more than one faction they will be working together on the same team.
I may be wrong; the banner at the bottom of the screen depending on what faction is fielded first is stuck on that banner, and so both factions despite being different will not fight each other and weirdly enough will be the same faction. Might be compatibility, but I'm not sure because I see others loading multiple factions in and reporting it to be just fine.

I released an update today, let me know if these errors persist.
hmm, i discovered another glitch with marauder. currently i'm fighting against tier 3 marauder and i played a few more battles to make sure this glitch was not a fluke but a consistent problem. ( don't know about tier 1 and 2 marauders as my campaign is well pass those points, but i assume they would have the same problem )
marauders now have a human head showing up underneath the marauder head. it's as if invisible head is not working for marauders.

hmm i didn't encounter this bug, i fought a few marauders yesterday, they seem to be fine.

hmm, i think i might have found a bug. after you gave phaeston rifle to marauder. collector guardian's weapon has also been changed to phaeston. don't know about collector drone yet, because during today's play session i have not encountered a single collector drone, so i can't say.

hey man can you do a quick update to give marauder his phaeston rifle? thank you so much !
Kexx's Palaven pack includes these guys as cosmetics
not to mention that krogans can still be used for at least 2 other units if you choose to. 1 is berserker, in the worst case scenario, if no one ports brutes asset. we just use a krogan to replace berserker. 2 is andromedon. it goes to melee attack after you kill it the first time. so kind of like a krogan goes berserk and do a melee charge after taking lots of dmg. fits pretty well.
and i still think that both immersion wise and gameplay wise marauder fits a very good role as the ubiquitous muton. after all reapers are the real enemy.
first of all, i personally think that marauder fits pretty well with shieldbearer, coz marauder buffs cannibals in ME 3. so i say we still keep this shieldbearer version of marauder.
secondly, i agree that we need to increase appearance chance for marauder, because this is such a badass looking unit. in my opinion, currently trooper class units are kind of very saturated. i see cerberus grunts and collector troopers all the time. nothing wrong with it of course, point is that if you add marauder in to that mix, it would be too crowded. which comes back to the muton argument. see next post.
I am not familiar worth the Better Campaign series of mods and if they impact modded enemies.

I agree that the shield bearer status may not match the Marauders grunt archetype. I’m debating switching this to a trooper unit to match more appropriately and to increase appearance chance. Milton will be covered by a different enemy. Thoughts?
