Almost all raider factions will do that. Given the way the game works there's a choice of only two teams to put a custom faction on of which most raider factions use the same one while The Hive and Rebellious MocX use the other one. Thus if you get more than one faction they will be working together on the same team.

I believe the Marauders faction mod. The one with the skirmishers.
I may be wrong; the banner at the bottom of the screen depending on what faction is fielded first is stuck on that banner, and so both factions despite being different will not fight each other and weirdly enough will be the same faction. Might be compatibility, but I'm not sure because I see others loading multiple factions in and reporting it to be just fine.

Thanks for answering. So, I am ok. For now I love your new creatures (I've tried 4 of them). :praisesun: The only strange thing is that on an ADVENT reinforcement it spawned only 1 Pretorian. I need to try other similar situations, and really hope that this was just a single accident.

Got a little bug with this guy, when he spawned out of a drop ship and landed, he had a human head poking through his turain head. Is that supposed to happen...? ^^;

Having the same issue with the black textures. I've seen its been commented that it needs a palaven mod? Not sure what mod it is but don't see any other info on this mod requiring other mods to work. Can someone link to the page of the other mod requirement to use this mod if that's the case?

hmm, i discovered another glitch with marauder. currently i'm fighting against tier 3 marauder and i played a few more battles to make sure this glitch was not a fluke but a consistent problem. ( don't know about tier 1 and 2 marauders as my campaign is well pass those points, but i assume they would have the same problem )

marauders now have a human head showing up underneath the marauder head. it's as if invisible head is not working for marauders.

I'm actually going to second the report of Marauders popping up with black textures. Also, the cosmetics available to my soldiers are full-black, too.

False alarm. That one mission to capture an ADVENT vip had the maruaders derp out texture wise but ones in other missions were just fine.

hmm, i think i might have found a bug. after you gave phaeston rifle to marauder. collector guardian's weapon has also been changed to phaeston. don't know about collector drone yet, because during today's play session i have not encountered a single collector drone, so i can't say.

Similar to Collectors, this mod is having an impact on Proving Grounds Overhaul. I removed this mod and problem went away. PGO is showing multiple blank lines.

thirdly the muton argument. now i don't know what you plan is for muton. i can only speculate, if you don't want marauder to replace muton, i speculate that you probably want to use krogan? i thought about this, my issue is that because muton is such a ubiquitous unit that appears a lot. if you use krogan , then we would be fighting a lot of krogans. immersion wise it just feels wrong.

not to mention that krogans can still be used for at least 2 other units if you choose to. 1 is berserker, in the worst case scenario, if no one ports brutes asset. we just use a krogan to replace berserker. 2 is andromedon. it goes to melee attack after you kill it the first time. so kind of like a krogan goes berserk and do a melee charge after taking lots of dmg. fits pretty well.

and i still think that both immersion wise and gameplay wise marauder fits a very good role as the ubiquitous muton. after all reapers are the real enemy.

first of all, i personally think that marauder fits pretty well with shieldbearer, coz marauder buffs cannibals in ME 3. so i say we still keep this shieldbearer version of marauder.

secondly, i agree that we need to increase appearance chance for marauder, because this is such a badass looking unit. in my opinion, currently trooper class units are kind of very saturated. i see cerberus grunts and collector troopers all the time. nothing wrong with it of course, point is that if you add marauder in to that mix, it would be too crowded. which comes back to the muton argument. see next post.

I agree that the shield bearer status may not match the Marauders grunt archetype. I’m debating switching this to a trooper unit to match more appropriately and to increase appearance chance. Milton will be covered by a different enemy. Thoughts?
