it is a module for VOX,which gives specific playermodels voices when a person uses them. in this instance,i attached the Grunt's voicelines from Half Life: Alyx onto a grunt playermodel that you can use. in a way, this is similar to how voicelines in TF2 work
an example: when a scout gets hit in TF2,you hear the scout's voice. when you use a voice command while playing as soldier, you hear soldier's voice
but instead of a number menu like TF2's voice commands,VOX has a radial wheel menu
this does not deal with NPC's in any shape, way,or form
in the console,this command is:
bind (yourkey) +tfa_vox_callout_radial
for options such as turning certain sounds off (falling, hurt noises, low health, etc),the command is
bind (yourkey2) tfa_vox_vgui_open
replacing (yourkey) with whatever button you like on the keyboard
@sadr4noises i can't do that,as i don't know how to do modelling,only audio work
in full honesty,i kind of rushed when making three of these VOX things,so i'm expecting directory errors for them
but unfortunately,i'm not sure how to do that...
i can replace NPC sounds with ease,i think, but i don't know how to use the soundscripts for them.
the biggest issue on this, however,is getting all those sounds separate - all of the combine NPC's you listed use the same sounds, and would require special new NPC's to be made - which i'm sure someone will do one day,but that's above my skill
combine elite: combine commander
prison guard: suppresor
shotgunner: heavy combine
and combine soldier: combine grunt
pls noone did this yet
It sounds more like a man with a leg injury is forced to jump, instead of "excelts a little too much force".
Is there a nail in the shoe?
or a minor ankle injury, since sometimes gmod's fall damage is just 10 hp
combine grunt: *heavy breathing*
