I've got an issue with this on 2.3.1 where they show great stats in the Turret Factory, but when you try to craft them, the range is decked to 1 third of the shown range.

Dev console shows the weapons class, does not give when requested.

items do appear as loot from missions but when "looted" never go in to inventory.

I can loot them but they are not anywhere? So ... What is going on? Does this work or not? Can't search for them, not in my inventory, but can see that i looted it on a mission?

For some reason, capital weapons doesn't spawn in xanion region. I started to take capital weapons only inside of barier. Outside they don't want to spawn, even turret factory doesn't producing them.

Having same issue. There are no capital ship turrets anywhere, Seems to not work with newest Avorion version.

So those crazy numbers exist without the mod too? Haven't checked but that is good to know if that is the case. Might be a good idea to set up my stations outside the center in that case!

It's just balance issues with the core game. I have seen 10 M omicron ship with bolters, of course it's more dangerous with railguns.

Not sure if this is due to this mod or not (which is great btw) but I've found that alien ships which have these weapons equipped (and alot of them) on expert difficulty can result in ships having 7million + omicron in the center. Quite scary and can 1 shot anything without an insane amount of shielding or hull. Especially the rail guns. This could be a bit game breaking if an alien incursion happens with 2-3 of these ships pop in and fly out to super far range and snipe everything in the sector dead.

Do i need to start a new game? The weapons don't show up in the debug menu (other custom weapons do), or maybe this mod doesn't work with new update?

So far i have only found the laser and the ion cannon and the sounds for them are amazing. They sound like large capital grade weapons. :steamhappy:

Just put this on my server and it appears that its broken. It shows the turrets in the factory but it will not pull up stats or a recipe for them? Is there a way to fix this

Oh the dlc is not out yet..., but some other mod might be causing the proble, which should not happen. what kind of error do you get in the client/server log file?

hi, me again, have trouble - some time ago (about 1 month ago) everything worked good and we had good stations with good BIG DA SHOOTTAZ, but now me and my friend launched serv again and... only one station sell BIG INAF SHOTTAZ. New factories have no option to create cap class weapons at all, even in 1:1. Sad :steamsad:

do they have the same look to them as in the basic game, im guessing they just are resized but thats why we have turret bases to change the look of the turret placed on it

The slow turret rotation will make them hard to use in agile ships. Recoil will also cause small ships to go to random direction. 5 railguns approximately use 2TW of power so which would be lot for small ships. I Think the railgun range could be smaller like 60km as their dps is lowest of the capital weapons.

the 100km range on the railgun turret might be to much overkill. 40km would be more reasonable. I can see them being used on agile ships.

Something might be required with these turrets to allow them only on big not so agile ships or people will abuse them paired with use on agile ships overall.
