I really love the idea of it, but when aiming at a target 700m away and firing, the bullet drops well below the bottom of the scope, I mean I've seen a Nerf gun exhibit better accuracy at range so I'm really not sure if it's me messing it um or what. i do still love it though, just wont have much practical use for it.

I think there's a bug that removes the equipment tab in the crafting menu.

It looks like the mod have some issues with the new assembler rework from last patch.
After I load this mod, I am unable to build bottles or canvas in my assemblers.
is there any other player out ther with the same problem?

Do you use Rich Hud Master and have selected Camera use clear overlay? If so, you have no crosshair if aiming with the Barrett variants!

I don't know if it's a bug or a mod conflict but does the scoped 30X need something else for having a crosshair? cause it's the 1rst time i'm using it to down some thrusters on drone that have no more guns but still fly so that i can recycle them but no crosshair is kinda hard to aim accurately :p (maybe it's the vanilla gun crosshair mod i have?)

Greetings! We want to move our server to cross-play and would not like to be left without the usual weapons. Could you add the Barrett M107A1 and M60E3 to the mod io?

Only the hud part is a design choice. the pointing stuff is a bug.
And yeah, its so insanely much better now

I spoke to Klim yesterday and he told you to write about the sighting grid .which will complement the rifle well

Hud thing is a design choice, might get Klime to add a toggle for it in the config and the other issue is just how this new scope work. I didnt make it so its up to Klime to fix it. Maybe make the same comment on his mod

hey, I noticed something you may want to make your next update. When you use the scope it doesn't aim at what you were aiming at without the scope just in the general direction. You also loose all you HUD markers. This makes zeroing in on a target past your non zoomed render distance impossible almost as most likely its moving and not going to be in the same spot anymore by the time you find said spot again in the scope. Both issues don't technically need fixed just one or the other would solve the larger issue. Though, If I could pick I'd want it to look where I'm looking more than having a hud in my rifle lol. @PixelatedDrake You should be able to hit stuff from about 1k out pretty reliably. Sometimes you need to zoom out a bit to see where the bullet drops, and use the scope markers to remember.
I can hit stuff 2k+ away. It can be hard, but its sort of a balance act.
Might increase the velocity a bit, cause atm its half of what it is irl (about 500m/s and irl rounds go around 900~m/s)

They're showing up now! Thanks a bunch :) Next thing I'm noticing is that the bullet drop is pretty crazy at distance, to the point where at 1km I can just barely hit by placing the target at the very bottom of the screen. I run Weaponcore, so most turrets start at 1.5km. Was hoping to use this to be able to take on some lower-tier bases in my survival game, but can't really do so unless I'm missing something here.

@Klaes yeah, I did nothing with the suppressor sound this update, only swapped the ranges around. Still looking for a good audio I can use. Also, that is quite funny cause the vid you posted is where I got the classic bolt slide sound at the end of the reload sound haha

@PixelatedDrake So a few things can cause this. The first and simple one is that I have totally forgot to add the weapons to the industrial assembler, so you cant craft them there hehe, will try and fix that now. However, if you check the regular assembler, the weapon tab should be there!

Secondly, if you only have the M107 or SMAW installed, they wont show up in the basic assembler since its they are higher tier weapons. Only my pistols and some basic rifles can be built there.

Lastly, if you run the Industrial Overhaul mod, the weapon tab wont show up at all unless you use my IO Compatibility mod.

you have conflicting mods. this mod doesn't play well w/ other weapon mods.

Upon doing a bit little digging, it seems the tabs for this mod only show up for me in the basic assembler, though they are empty. The normal and industrial assembler have other tabs, such as "Mod Components", but the tabs from this mod are absent for me.

Oh, I had a thought though you may have already done it. you could use settings similar to what the sound-blocks have by default to set the distance shots can be heard from for each kind of gun ;)

btw Northy, I finished testing, and dude... its night and day. Guns and scopes work flawlessly now very well done only thing left is the sound of the suppressed shot. It's still too high pitched (sounds like a small pistol), but other than that its perfect :). Outstanding work sir.

So, went to make them in my survival world and they do show up in the G menu under character weapons, but no trace of them in assembler or industrial assembler :(

Real world scenario or in game pvp for that matter once sounds are fixed would be using suppressed while close to seem far away and the break while far away for extra range/accuracy and seem close.

having the AP rounds punch through more w/o extra or even possibly less collateral damage to surrounding blocks would be sick though
