@Enaxity Thank you very much!
Enaxity 22 Aug, 2020 @ 2:37pm
I gave you an award for this masterpiece, Respect my dude. Awsome Plane very great to fly
mitsubishimax9  [author] 28 Jul, 2020 @ 10:40pm
@MelvinMcFly That is odd, it must be related to how the server handles lua. I will take a look but it might be something I cant fix.
MelvinMcFly 28 Jul, 2020 @ 3:51pm
@mitsubishimax9 actually, i forgot to mention that it only happens in multiplayer and i am setting a waypoint on the screen, but it isnt working.
mitsubishimax9  [author] 28 Jul, 2020 @ 10:19am
@MelvinMcFly That means you do not have a GPS waypoint set. Click anywhere on the map to set a waypoint.
MelvinMcFly 23 Jun, 2020 @ 5:43pm
for me the plane is turning in a circle and not working when i turn on autopilot
Lunatic 13 May, 2020 @ 2:58am
I'm missing a radio
mitsubishimax9  [author] 30 Apr, 2020 @ 11:03am
@tusplappert Thanks, it took a while to get working. @Wolferkid I don't play multiplayer much so I am glad to hear that it works well.
Aurora WolferKing 30 Apr, 2020 @ 8:08am
@mitsubishimax9 Thats ok it still a good plane for multyplayer.
Schwarzer_Franzose 30 Apr, 2020 @ 5:50am
very nice with the navigation its like real FMC
mitsubishimax9  [author] 29 Apr, 2020 @ 6:08pm
@Wolferkid There is no way to go backwards without getting out and pushing the aircraft. Sorry.
Aurora WolferKing 29 Apr, 2020 @ 4:36pm
How to go backwards
mitsubishimax9  [author] 29 Apr, 2020 @ 3:24pm
@Thales @Ebony Mori Thanks!
mitsubishimax9  [author] 29 Apr, 2020 @ 3:10pm
Yeah it is probably the fuel cutoffs then
mach_speed 29 Apr, 2020 @ 3:06pm
After Startup
mitsubishimax9  [author] 29 Apr, 2020 @ 2:55pm
@mach_speed Not 100% what is going on. The only thing I can think of is that you are turning the fuel cutoffs on. Keep them off. Does this happen right after startup, or once you're already in the air?
mach_speed 29 Apr, 2020 @ 2:49pm
It's a great aircraft, good detailing and nice cockpit, but the fuel pressure just drops, engines stop, and the fuel pressure goes negative. Dunno whats happening as I do everything correctly.
Thales 29 Apr, 2020 @ 2:26pm
Highly detailed cockpit instruments and nice interior design. Easy to takeoff and land also!
slamin 29 Apr, 2020 @ 2:07pm
Don't don't see any problems with it, this is one of the best jets on the workshop
mitsubishimax9  [author] 29 Apr, 2020 @ 10:51am
@everone For everybody who views this thread, I would really appreciate feedback on this aircraft. I am getting more dislikes than I would like, but I cannot improve my vehicle without feedback. Please let me know what kind of issues or technical difficulties you are facing.
mitsubishimax9  [author] 29 Apr, 2020 @ 9:20am
@Myrphac Take your time of course! I've got another big project I am working on right now so it will be quite a while for me as well. LUA isn't so bad once you spend some time messing around with it.
Myrphac 29 Apr, 2020 @ 2:46am
@mitsubishimax9 Thanks man, I'll tell you when it's done! I'd say it's nearly finished (missing details mostly) but I'd like to put some patients monitors inside so I'm trying to learn lua, it might take some time though...
mitsubishimax9  [author] 28 Apr, 2020 @ 4:12pm
@kbrown0471 You must be trying to place it in a small hangar. Try placing it at an airfield with a larger build area.
Unequaled 28 Apr, 2020 @ 2:40pm
were do you place it it says its to big
mitsubishimax9  [author] 28 Apr, 2020 @ 1:06pm
@Butter Thanks for trying it out, I am glad you enjoy it!
mitsubishimax9  [author] 28 Apr, 2020 @ 1:05pm
@Myrphac I just started on it, I think it will be a fun project! Good luck on yours as well, let me know here when you post it.
Keltaler 28 Apr, 2020 @ 4:32am
I can say that this is the best Jet that I've flown yet, Great aircraft.
Myrphac 28 Apr, 2020 @ 1:55am
@mitsubishimax9 I'm sure they would! A coast guard version flying in heavvy weather would sure be a beautiful sight! Good luck on it!
mitsubishimax9  [author] 27 Apr, 2020 @ 4:23pm
@Myrphac I think I'll get started on it then! All three of our aircraft would probably make a pretty cool fleet.
Myrphac 27 Apr, 2020 @ 2:31pm
@mitsubishimax9 Yeah I strongly encourage you to do it! It would be nice to have a compact SAR aircraft like this!
mitsubishimax9  [author] 27 Apr, 2020 @ 1:50pm
Yep, I'm going to reconfigure the interior with various different pieces of search & rescue equipment. Radars, beacon locators, radios, and maybe some custom programmed systems. I haven't thought it all through yet to be honest. I'm not sure if I will base it off of a real coast guard aircraft, or do something custom.
Myrphac 27 Apr, 2020 @ 1:22pm
@mitsubishimax9 Thanks, I'm glad you like it! Ive seen some pics of coast guard learjets with some pods on the wings, they looked quite nice imo, it's a great idea! Are you thinking of putting emergency beacon locators or radars in it maybe?
mitsubishimax9  [author] 27 Apr, 2020 @ 12:41pm
Those look great! I like how you used the leading edge part of the tail to do the de-ice boot. I like the design a lot. I might work a Coast Guard variant of it as well.
Myrphac 27 Apr, 2020 @ 12:25pm
mitsubishimax9  [author] 27 Apr, 2020 @ 11:26am
Haha that makes sense... I wish I had a good home cockpit setup!
Night Raider 27 Apr, 2020 @ 11:19am
well i mite probably add that a have a A-10 cock pit set up so i'm use to start ups like this
mitsubishimax9  [author] 27 Apr, 2020 @ 11:12am
Lol yeah probably. The aircraft I fly in real life is much more complicated, this is easy comparatively. And of course it is... I didn't have a whole lot of room to integrate all of the intricacies in the cockpit. I just gave the instructions because I thought they could be helpful. What type(s) of aircraft do you fly?
Night Raider 27 Apr, 2020 @ 11:07am
probably cause i'm use to taking off real planes
Night Raider 27 Apr, 2020 @ 11:07am
this was easy to take with out the instructions
mitsubishimax9  [author] 27 Apr, 2020 @ 10:45am
@Myrphac Yeah, I had to be pretty creative to make sure everything fit. You probably noticed how the fuel tank squeezes into little spaces to maximize capacity. I would suggest extending the fuel tank forward just in front of where the landing gear are. Otherwise, you could find something other than beds to go over the gear compartments, like a medical bed mounted sideways. The range would be really impressive with that extended fuel tank.
Myrphac 27 Apr, 2020 @ 6:14am
@mitsubishimax9 Yep I love those wingtip fuel tanks!

Thanks for allowing me to do that! Don't worry, if I ever post it I'll credit everything properly!

I was planning to make a full medevac interior, I haven't found any reference pictures online but from what I've understood, there was originally only one bed, but I believe I'm going to put at least 2 and some jumpseats for convenience, though I'm unsure of how I'm going to sort out the back area of the cabin, where you've put the beds. I though about moving the toilets there but it won't work because of the landing gear compartments (putting beds on top of them was quite neat actually!), so I thought about maybe extending the fuel tank there to add capacity (the only problem is the window, I've already had to remove one on the right to fit some paint blocks) but I'm yet to decide really.

I'll take some screenshots (probably this afternoon/evening) and I'll send you the link! :steamhappy:
mitsubishimax9  [author] 26 Apr, 2020 @ 10:18pm
@Myrphac I'm glad you like it! I can definitely see the similarities between the Tradewind and the Lear 35, especially with the large wingtip fuel tanks.

It is fine with me if you reskin the aircraft and upload it, but make sure you give credit and link to this page. I'd love to see some screenshots. I'm assuming you will do a full medevac interior?
Myrphac 26 Apr, 2020 @ 12:38pm
@mitsubishimax9 I gotta say it's my favorite small plane in this game, it does what it has to do quite efficently and comfortably also! :steamhappy: I really like the design of this plane, it reminds me of the Learjet 35. Could I make/post an air ambulance version (Swiss Air-Ambulance to be more precise, based on HB-VEM mostly)? I would totally understand if you don't want me to, as it is your creation and my modification wouldn't be a lot of work. I have already made the exterior, I could post some screenshots of if you'd like.
mitsubishimax9  [author] 26 Apr, 2020 @ 6:53am
@LaserHB can you explain what's happening? It's working on my end.
LaserHB 26 Apr, 2020 @ 6:20am
your thing is not working )::steamfacepalm:
mitsubishimax9  [author] 24 Apr, 2020 @ 6:11pm
@Bedmonster I moved things around on the MFD and made room for the fuel amount. Hopefully that fixes it for you! Thanks again for letting me know.
mitsubishimax9  [author] 24 Apr, 2020 @ 5:02pm
Alright I will add a way to view the amount in litres. Shouldn't take too long. Thanks!
Bedmonster 24 Apr, 2020 @ 5:01pm
Yes asking for actual amount in litres, its hard to plan how much its going to need if I don't know how much its going to take!
