@Patuljak its a common bug, i've had that crash 3 times during one encounter in a unmodded playthrough, had around 10 crashes where 8 where the reinfocment bug during my first complete unmodded run (finished on day 99)
Allright, gotcha. Thanks. I'll leave the comments up in case someone will be thinking along the same lines.
I don't use this mod (probably will next playthrough), and had the exact same issues you describe. It's crashed on reinforcements three or four times for me, and sometimes on reload the reinforcements never show up. It's unrelated to this mod.
I get a crash sometimes when it is enabled on missions where reinforcements are coming. At the moment before they enter, the game crashes. If I reload last save with the mod enabled it gets stuck again (one time it worked but it showed that reinforcements would come every turn, but they did not, strangely), while if I disable and load it works. Not a big deal as you only need the mod at the start of the game, but thought I'd report it.
I am using a number of other mods alongside it.
Other than that great mod, thanks.
No other mods. I was returning back to base from a mission.
I'm sorry to hear that, can you provide me with any information about the crash? Any other mods installed, what action did you take directly prior to the crash, etc. Next time please take care to never enable Hardcore or Ironman mode when using mods, just in case.
These are all awesome ideas, not all of them are equally doable though. UI modding is extremely difficult and this mod was only made possible because the UI screen for it already existed in a different part of the game. Implementing a "Pass" option or a "Random" option would be the most difficult. I'll add in the other ideas at some point this week when I have time.
Nucleus -- Your first agent is selected randomly. Then, you draft three more.
River -- You draft three agents. Your final agent is selected randomly.
Heads or Tails -- Each draft round only offers you 2 agents to choose from instead of 3.
Devil You Know -- Choose between 2 agents, or a 3rd slot which will randomly select an agent from your pool and apply a small buff to them (+2 HP, +5 aim, etc.).
I.e
group 1 -> you select Axiom, but it also has Blueblood in it who you really want
group 2 -> pick Godmother
group 3 -> not really fond of anyone, and still really wanting blueblood *pass*
group 4 -> pick terminal
Now you get group 5, which is randomly selected from all the previous non-selected players, including blueblood. It's a risk / reward estimate, because you only have a 1/2 (roughly) chance of your wanted character popping up in group 5.
Of course if you don't skip, then group 5 will never come up.
