A missing animation doesn't cause a crash you just get a frozen object. The exploding creature (tentacle) is removed at death dropping a loot bag.

Without seeing the whole log I can't say what actually caused the crash the snip below indicates it began with the terminal screen gui.

I really like this mod, but it will just crash the game randomly during play. :steamfacepalm: Looks like the author included something called the "exploding creature" and didn't give it a dead model so the game just dies.

I would recommend using the mes version, then you'll be able to create a spawn group without having to modify the planets directly

I'm sure you've answered this before, but is it possible for these aliens to spawn on other planets? I have an existing Ares at War scenario world that I am wanting to add this mod for, curious before I go plunging headfirst into stupidity lol. Thank you in advance!

Maybe, in the MES version it's complaining about idle as well which also doesn't exist. Dunno...

I don't use anything keen doesn't have on the backpack and that only creates a GPS for the player for as long as the loot bag exists

I found the same GPS issue as TheDeepHorizon.TTV described. Isn't it caused by:

<Component BuilderType="MyObjectBuilder_CharacterDiscoveryComponent" ForceCreate="true"/>

Not sure if it is this mod or some strange mod conflict but every time a tentacle creature or red lion-esq beast dies it leaves a body GPS, this leads to a ton of marker spam (esp in the cold regions where some die during storms) Not sure how to fix this issue. Also when making a GPS marker and naming it, if a creature dies and leaves a mark the menu swaps to the new one, making creating markers annoying if there's any creatures nearby.

Question: Do your animals spawn like stupid vanilla animals and attack every few minutes or some are just for scenery, like non aggressive or aggressive only if attacked?

I am making a movie using SE as scenery on a hand made custom planet, so wanted to make it more rich visually with some animals in the background.

This is exclusively for alien planet the mod author of the planet has to add the animals to their planet generator. Or use a MES creature spawn definition

It's adds 3 new animals a red and a white beast and a tentacle creature. Unfortunately the size of custom textures is what's making the mod so large

Interesting mod. And I like seeing new creatures, especially ones this well done. Just to clarify: This only adds 1 new animal (besides the Small Spider)... or is it more? I felt I had to ask because it seems weird for the mod to take up 345 MB for adding just 1 creature (plus drops like the alien carcass).

Also, I'd recommend emphasizing in the description that these only spawn on the Alien planet. (The description hinted at this without making it crystal clear, but then I read the comments.)

If I listed all the mods that were incompatible it would take up a lot of space. But industrial overhaul is popular so I should atleast say that. Any mod the edits the planet generator would have to add my bots to their mod to have it work. Unfortunately because of how the system works there is nothing I can do.

Oh, so industrial overhaul is incompatible? I suppose that does make sense but; 1. It would be nice to have that listed as an incompatibility.
And 2. Is there a way to make the two mods play nice?
