Just took a quick note here. Ultimately if you wanted my run down: Pulse Rifles - Assault Rifles alongside Carbines (Basic Rifles), Blasters - Shotguns (Assault/Rangers), Rail Rifles - Snipers (Sharpshooters), Ion Rifles (reserved for heavies), and Specialists just get a field day with their drone customization. The T'au are restricted mostly in infantry weapons but shine in terms of specialties with skills, suits, and determination. But do as you do! I will keep supporting the Greater good!

will there be an option in an ini file to change it?

Unfortunately i have reserved other weapons to be rifles, and required a sniper, so im using that weapon as the rifle.

One minor critic, the pulse rifle is usually an assault rifle with extreme range.
Is there a way to use it as assault rifle instead of a sniper rifle?

ranger is the melee specialist tho, wasen't the idea to make it a sniper? in that case its the sharpshooter ya want

the pulse rifle counts as an assault rifle and can't be equipped by the sharpshooter class and no tier 1 tau weapons are fine, after all theres tier 1 bolters as well, and they fire mini grenades basically

Since 40k weapons are better than most Sci-fi guns. I think they should start off as tier 2 weapons.
