I'm not sure as I have stopped playing Stellaris or paying much attention to its developpement. However unless paradox did some changes to how the galactic community works (not just add new resolutions, I mean if they changed how voting works and such) then it should still work fine. I am unable to verify this, unfortunately.

The mod should still work just the same for now, I don't remember seeing any changes in the latest game versions that should affect it. I'm not very available to look at it these days but I'll try to take time to make sure everything runs smoothly when Paradox releases the next update.

Hi. Yes, sorry it's taking a while to update, my personal life got complicated recently (so has everyone's this year, really). Votings weights look normal to me. Keep in mind that the game takes "politics" into account: An empire might decide to vote in favour of something they don't really care about to please another empire they like; or vice versa. Also the first-level resolutions are not as divisive as the later ones: A pacifist empire won't necessarily hate the first militarist resolution, but any non-militarist empire should almost always vote against the 4th and 5th ones.

Hi, if you decide to update the mod could you also look into the voting weight?
For example Gestalt Conscious shouldnt care about the resolution at all, but i had Hivemind voting for the Militarist resolution. And muliple Pacifists who were not voting against it.

Hey, thanks for the appreciation. I'm currently away but I'll be back soon to work on the mod. Your idea is something I've been considering but decided against originally since it felt like too much. However, the mod as it is now feels like too little in my testing, so I'll be toying with a few additions sooner rather than later.

Hey Cattan, great mod. Would thought it'd be cool if the higher tiers started policing ethics. Such as tier 4 resolutions making it in breach of galactic law to be the opposite ethic to the resolution and tier 5 being illegal to not be the ethic.

For example the Materialist tier 4: "Our Mechanical Brethren" making fanatic and normal spiritualists in breach, then then "Evolve or Perish" making everyone except fanatic and normal materialists in breach.

Also, if you're looking for update ideas, 'benevolent authoritarians' should be up there. Something that fits the empires that are made up of people voluntarily serving the state and not reliant on slave labor.

This is completly compatible with 2.7 indeed. As for your question, I am not sure. I do not know of any mod that does this but I must admit I haven't had time to play Stellaris since the update so I haven't looked yet.

I really like the idea of making it galactic law to give rights to AI, which should help a lot with needing to quell a rebellion you got pulled in to fighting because someone in your federation was mistreating their synthetics.
Speaking of which, is there a mod out there which does something like that for federations specifically? I don't want AI rebellions completely extinguished from the game, but I don't want to fight against something I support because my federation members don't believe they have souls or whatever.
Aiding an AI rebellion against an enemy nation, however, would be very intriguing.

There's a lot of different versions people refer to as the "original english lyrics", but this one is the one people actually sing these days and it's still relevant while having more bite than Billy's slightly watered down version:

@greenche: I was going to at first but after reading both version... I just have to agree with Billy: The original English lyrics aren't really up to date anymore. If I ever translate this mod to French I'd use the original lyrics there.

I love that the final battle quotes the lyrics of the Internationale, but would you mind using the original lyrics instead of the Billy Bragg ones? :P
