Fun mod, the only guy I couldn't get was one of the ones in the secure room. His body was there but it still played voice lines so I think his death was a glitch.

Took me a couple tries, but got the savior of science score. Some areas are a little too tricky I feel, and the ladder to the additional area is a bit of a weird one that I had to noclip to find out.

Overall though, I'd love it if this were expanded. Imagine not playing Gordon, but this is like a custom, unique series of maps resembling all of the sectors, and you try and save staff this way.

Nevermind, I watched a video of this mod and saw what was supposed to happen. For some reason, the barnacle didn't break through the ceiling when I went into the bathroom. I re-started the mod from the beginning and it seemed to work after I did that.

Imagine the elevator takes you to WGH and you get to play it with all the people you saved until the "Careful, don't cross the beams" room where you drop everyone you saved off and you can get bonus points for saving the other personnel from WGH.

For those trying to figure out how to save Clifford, you have to bring the radio that's transmitting the emergency broadcast system message on loop to his area. Once the message plays fully, he'll say a line and be willing to follow you.

1: Try going to where you got the "Permeable Infrastructure" achievement.
2: NPCs can move through spaces other than doors.
3: He needs some additional convincing from another source before he is willing to leave.

1: How do you get into the secure office? The only door is locked.
2: Even when you do get in the secure office, how do you lead the security guard? There is a couch blocking the door.
3: Is it possible to bring Clifford with you?

this is bloody brilleant! but i cant seem to get the trapped in the secure office, unless the dead security gaurd is the guy [p.s. he was already dead before i got their] and the clifford [though i think thats a joke rescue].

You do indeed have to use the vents. You can get to the bullsquid room FROM the area with the turret; not the other way around.

Yeah, actually my original inspiration for making this map was being frustrated by how many of the savable NPCs in the original Half-Life could no longer be saved in Black Mesa.

I love it, it always broke my heart seeing innocent scientists or police officers killed / Security guards i dont know what they are, Now i can save them

This was great fun, and I'd love to see this idea expanded upon! I did however have a few problems. First, the scientist trapped in the turret room is always dead when I reach him. Second, it is brutally tough to save the woman who runs right out to the vort ambush, as a single hit from either of them will kill her. I ultimately had to cheat and summon a shotgun to take them down quickly enough, and it still took several attempts.

Bottom line, this is a great combination of gunplay and puzzles as you work out how to save everyone. Excellent work!

Man, I'd love to see more of this concept! Very fun! My only issue was me not being able to enter the vents, and not being able to save Clifford for some reason, I never found out how. Other than that, Great map! :D

Really cool premise. It took me a few attempts to save everyone. I only have a few small complaints about the map. One is that it gets kind of hard to navigate. Part of the problem is that everything is on the same level, it all looks similar and there are no signs pointing towards the elevator so you get lost easily.

I also think the map would be better without all of the dead bodies. I get that it's setting the scene but it makes it very hard to tell if the people you're protecting have died or not because of all the other dead scientists on the ground.
