Overall though, I'd love it if this were expanded. Imagine not playing Gordon, but this is like a custom, unique series of maps resembling all of the sectors, and you try and save staff this way.
2: NPCs can move through spaces other than doors.
3: He needs some additional convincing from another source before he is willing to leave.
4: In one of the bathrooms.
2: Even when you do get in the secure office, how do you lead the security guard? There is a couch blocking the door.
3: Is it possible to bring Clifford with you?
4: Where is the "Poor choice of hiding spot" guy?
Basically, is it even possible to win flawlessly?

More testing is needed but the map is playable
In any case, you were on the right track with attempting to find an alternate path.
Bottom line, this is a great combination of gunplay and puzzles as you work out how to save everyone. Excellent work!
I also think the map would be better without all of the dead bodies. I get that it's setting the scene but it makes it very hard to tell if the people you're protecting have died or not because of all the other dead scientists on the ground.
