Sorry to say, but they can't be "fixed" without seriously downgrading the models or removing the interior entirely. I know it sucks, but I doubt the original author will do that.

Yeah, crashes when it spawns unfortinatly, hope you will know how to fix it soon, I would love to use these ragdolls :D

It crashed when I spawned it. He never spawned it he was toying with a Rebel ragdoll.

If it's crashing when he spawns it, the model is probably a bit much for his PC. If it's crashing when he tried to browse to it in the spawn menu, then he probably needs to download the icon I linked.

So I was reading the comment section here, should I have my friend download the file you put in there? Because his PC is kinda low end and when I spawned in the APC his game crashed, and he couldn't rejoin my server. So should I just have him download the file?

They didn't use LVTs in Normandy on D-Day, they used LVCPs. LVTs were primarily used in the Pacific by the USMC.

I don't know of any good Normandy maps though, sorry. There's a few old ones for Day of Defeat but they're not that great by today's standards.

Put the "materials" folder from this into your steamapps/common/garrysmod/garrysmod folder and click 'yes' to the folder overwrites. That should fix it.

It does that for some people. I think it's trying to generate spawnicons and failing because the model is so high poly. Try getting a friend to generate the spawnicons and send them to you.

On the left side of the spawn menu, scroll down to "addons", then look for the name of this addon. Click on it, and you can spawn the models from the menu it brings up.

I have absolutely no idea how the 'edit bones' thing works as I've never, ever used it.

Use the Joint Tool, which can be found here:

The rear hatch is rigged to the 'rearhatchmaster' bone. Move that to open it.

I'm really sorry, but I still don't follow. Where do I get access to editing the bone 'rearhatchmaster'? I am assuming you're refering to the body groups menu in the context menu, but I don't have anything there that says 'rearhatchmaster'.

If you mean editing the bones, (I'm using the Context menu -> Edit bones) for me at least there's only two bones in the back of the M113, one of which controls a small door on the ramp, and the other controls its handle.

The bone name is 'rearhatchmaster'. I have no idea why it isn't ragdolled.

Hello! Could you give me a hand, please? I'm just wondering how to open the ramp at the back of the M113, I see you have done it in one of the pictures. I can't seem to find it in the body groups, and editing the bones doesn't seem to do it either. I hope it's not that I'm just blind!

I can't update the addon anymore, but try getting the 'spawnicon fix' from the thread. If the problem is because your game can't generate the spawnicons then it should fix it, but if it doesn't fix it then there's no real soloution.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one having this problem... But for some reason when I move the M113 too fast the driver's hatch and the troop hatch on the roof start to spin out of control. Any advice?

Entirely wrong, because the mounted games have absolutely zero impact or relevance to whether a model works or not. Everything this addon uses is packed with it, and it has no dependence on what games are mounted.

The problem is likely due to the compiler that was used, as i know Sergal636 had to compile this using the SFM model compiler to allow it to have more bodygroups than would be allowed with the regular compiler. This means it inexplicably works for some people and the spawnicons generate fine, and for other people it just doesn't work.

If it was fixable and we knew what the problem was, it would've been fixed long ago. All we can say for certain is that it's not related in any way to what you suggested.

I may have a little theory. The crashes might be caused by the people not having a source game's content, which is needed for this addon. I never crashed from model addons, and I have all the Half-Life source game series content enabled, and I know others who crash, and they never had the contents.

Regrettably, there's no real fix. It seems it works fine for some people and just crashes other people, even though there's absolutely nothing actually wrong with the models.

The link for pre-generated spawnicons on the thread linked in the description still works fine so i'm not sure what problem you're having regarding that.
