what is the formula you used to calculate for bombs if you dont mind me asking? i like this and want to make A CCRP for my build that uses a display instead of a indicator light.

The problem with the game engine, in the game since recent times, the mass affects the acceleration of free fall. I'll fix the microcontroller when I figure out the new formula.

Hi, so im using this to couculate when i need to drop a bomb, the problem is, it keeps on getting the distance to target off by 2km and telling me to drop early, idk if i did anything wrong when hooking up?

You can check the connection example in my workshop. The “controller on / off” is the main switch that is used to turn on all controller systems.

anyway, with the release of the DLC, I will remake the controller to add the ability to calculate not only the player's fall, but also any other cargo (for dropping bombs ^ - ^). If there is any mistake on my part, I suppose at this point I will correct it.

Hmmmmm... You've properly plugged in all the different functions? The screen the LED the jump lights. I'm not really sure what advice I can give you it always seems to work fine for me.

I use a dual heading and altitude autopilot to keep my aircraft steady. And we're talking, steady enough that you can walk and jump around without being thrown out of the cargo bay. As far as I can tell, it counts down correctly, just doesn't trigger the jump portion of the controller.

Yes, you just need an autopilot to work with this controller.

If the aircraft isn't flying smoothly that tends to happen. You need to use an autopilot to fly exactly over the point to correctly trigger it.

Hey, it seems this controller doesn't work as shown in the video. It only reaches the "Ready?"/Red Light warning on 10 seconds, counts down, and never goes to Jump/Green Light. Additionally, the countdown finishes when the aircraft is directly over the target coordinates.

A good autopilot will greatly improve accuracy as it gives consistent numbers to the microcontroller. If your altitude and course suddenly change up and down the calculation will suddenly adjust the closer this happens to your destination the worse it gets.

That could work but the parachutes are opened on a timer not an altimeter. I need to try and work out how far they fall in 5 seconds Then apply your idea.

Everything is quite simple - you just need to enter into the controller not the current height of the aircraft, but *the height of the aircraft* - *the height of the opening of the capsule parachute*. Thus, I assume that it will calculate the arc not to sea level, but exactly to the point of opening

The problem I'm having is because I'm using drop pods with integrated parachutes the ballistic computer is calculating a complete arc instead of a partial arc. When the parachute opens it begins and almost immediate vertical descent. I'm trying to find a way to tune the controller to account for the pods needing to be dropped much closer to their destination. I'll keep you posted.

what meanings are we talking about? All variables are already configured during use, but if you need to change some presets on the fly, then you can add appropriate logical nodes.

This controller was intended for calculating the player's trajectory, but I myself was already thinking of making the same controller for cargo. Most likely, it will be possible to enter the mass of the dropped cargo into it, and it will work correctly. I will notify you when this controller is ready!:chocola:
