Yeah, I also noticed those gibs stuck beneath that tank. Can confirm the use of cheats is necessary.
You can also use the welder to melt the body parts stuck to the surgical table. ;)
I had only two problems with gibs getting stuck; one intestine underneath a large green tank (had to "killnearestmess" on that one), and had trouble getting the leg out of the surgical table (same as in Caduceus, and all levels that use that table, really)
Eventually I forced it out by whacking it with the mop and broom, which was as fun as cleaning the level. lol
Now, why are there over 1000 subscribers to this level, but only 38 ratings? It's an awesome level!!
Okay, some small notes:
1. Nice to see you added pids to all the corpses, but please go back and double check that the body parts near a given corpse (or group of corpses as the case may be) makes sense. The dead body in the back room with the shelves appears to have two arms, a head, a torso, a lower half with legs AND two additional legs spread throughout the room, not including viscera everywhere. I could only find a single pid in that room however, so I wasn't sure how to mark that cause of death.
2. My only other nitpick is the quantity of items clustered in some areas, if they're placed too closely together when the map initially loads in, it can cause some janky clipping and physics issues, especially with a bunch of things close together on tables and shelves.
thats if ya plan on making the map bigger
right now its a decent layout
if ya go for more rooms you might need a crate n barrel stacking area
check ya bugs thread i posted how to fix pretty much everything for this level
do that stuff n ya got a fully playable map=employee of the month ready
up the penalty offset in stacking volume=higher score for stacking everything valid like wet floor signs in that volume
keep up the good work
we all try to help eachother fix each others bugs here=teamwork makes workshop fun:)
it also produces decent levels like this one
1 thing to cross of ya list:)
so far so good
this level looks pretty cool
i will do some digging in the editor n let ya know what needs fixing
your almost there
interesting dispensers you have there too
move the bin machine so can get to both sides of it
second screenshot above when looking at the beds is 1 decal in right corner on the wall
half visible=delete that one
thats one nice mess ya have here n i can imagine that dark force was a really scary one
more details will appear in the bug post
well done
someone sabotaged this place real good:)
yeah 1st time jitters n don't worry it will all fall into place eventually
will check this one out in the morning
nice to see more creators join the club
keep at that level guide your making great progress
To fix your lighting error, press the button "build all" in the editor ( looks like a box with a lightbulb on it)
Punching out doesn't work, you need to goto View>World Properties, and setup a My_Map_info in there, use the "vc_mapinfo selection. Whilst your in there also make a Savegamesetup>VC_savegameSetup. from the saving tab in the world properties.
Again it's described in the level creation guide, better than I can explain it.
Don't worry about it, 1st map jitters and all that, good to see another creation going up
You need to make a folder called UDKGame, in that folder you want 2 more folders, content and config.
Withing the content folder you want a mods folder, and within that 2 more folders, Localization and one with your map name. in the Localization folder you want to add an INT folder.
Put your map upk in the map name folder.
Put your INT file in the int folder and put your ini file in the config folder.
When uploading use that udkgame folder as the folder you pick to upload. Keep this sperarate for each map you make in the future.
If you don't know about the ini and int files (as theres none with the download) go check out the level creation guide in the guides section.
