very useful if you wanna use the starting guns like the smg and the pump shotgun for longer than 5 minutes :D

For future reference, the m60 script file is found in the dlc1 folder's pak01_dir vpk, but the scripts for the other weapons that include the original survivor hands are in the pak01_dir vpk in dlc2's folder, and m60 with hands is in dlc3's. While this addon is fairly outdated, I still feel it's best to point this out just to be helpful. As for the addon asura pointed out, that uses a different method to create the same effect, utilizing commands that conveniently change ammo reserve not accessible in-game, but also oddly enough include the m60.

For example (Presumably) if you wanted to add Bill (Who probably has a diffrent name then Bill in the script) you would probably have this.

Because they are not mentioned in the script. You need to locate where the hand models are located and plug them into the script in the same format as the L4D2 hands. Like you have this in the script {

You would have to go into the files and find the listings for the L4D1 viewmodel hands and punch them in in the same way as the others.

I don't think so, if you modify the weapon script it will make the hand model for L4D1 survivors dissappear, I don't know why.

This makes the L4D1 survivors hand view models disappear.

If it still doesn't work after creating a host local multiplayer server, then try reinstalling it.

I have run this on a local server with no other mods and it doesnt work

m16 dont work, i was playing in single player so yeah...

That's because L4D1 survivors are ported here and thus the hand model dissappears, it doesn't dissappear with L4D2 survivors.

The text files included in this addon are default scripts for weapons so it must be run on local server.

dude now you are just makeing crap up for one if its a script it only runs when its told too (only while in that game) so you have no clue on what you are saying ive already subited this addon for review

If it's a script, then it's because it's booting from your PC.

The server needs to get information from you PC because you have the script, so you need to host a local server.
