I had a game where it was a very large cluster (20-30 stars) and a Ravenous Horde empire was in it with me. I loved that it happened like that, though I thought for sure it was a glitch at the time. Loved it.

If you don't want to update its your mod your choice. However there's a reason for the out of date mod flag. I tried 5 times to get it to work including restarting everything.

Can confirm crash/freeze on game load. Never makes it to main menu.

All I want is a mod that prevents AI empires from spawning on my side of the galaxy. I love anomalies and I don't want to give them up for some space vegetables. That would be in MP game though. Want another player to be together with me.

Love the mod Been using it for months, but i do wish you could stop the guaranteed wormhole spawn like you can with the gateway by disabling them in the Galaxy gen settings.

Just tried to start a game with this mod with the necrophage origin, kinda worked except I only had 1 pop of my main species and no districts built. Really would love to see an update for 2.8/Necroids.

Started about 10 games tonight, all but one (that was 4 systems big in total) have been open to the rest of the galaxy in multiple paths. I assume it's clashing with another mod but not sure which :( will report back if I figure it out

@IndyBart I haven't tested it with multiplayer, because I never play multiplayer. I suspect every human player would get their own cluster, but you'd have to try it out for yourself.

@SobanRe No, there's not currently a way to directly limit the number of systems in your cluster. It's purely based on the distance between your homeworld and your closest neighbors' homeworlds, so you'll tend to get bigger clusters in more sparsely-populated galaxies. Try turning up the number of AI empires if you want a smaller cluster.

@keoriv, if you're using any other mods that affect the hyperlane network, then yeah, they're likely to be incompatible. It doesn't break easily apart from that, though; I've used it with a ton of other mods.

Hello, exists a way to limit the amount of systems in your cluster. Sometimes my cluster is as big as a quater of the galaxy.

I started a new game with this mod (and quite a few others) active, and instead of isolated starts, there were no noticeable fragments anywhere in the galaxy, and my closest neighbor's capital was 4 jumps from mine. They managed to colonize three systems adjacent to my capital before I even noticed they exist.

I'm not saying this mod is at fault for the behavior. I'm just saying that it behaves unpredictably with other mods, and maybe breaks easily.

@zem I can't remember whether or not I added a trigger to check whether or not other L-Gates exist, and I'm not in a place where I can easily look at the code right this second, but it would be easy enough to add one.

I'm not familiar with the No L-Gates mod, but I suspect the worst that would happen is that a non-functional L-Gate would spawn. I doubt it would have any actual gameplay repercussions, but if you try it and I'm wrong, lmk.

No, it happens every time you start a new game with the mod active. If you don't want an isolated start, deactivate the mod.
