Just checked it out the stats. I'd call it a buff. Nice that you modernized this mod for the new game mechanics.
Old:
<Component Subtype="SteelPlate" Count="500" />

total health = 500 * 100 + 10 * 60 + 100 * 100 = 60600
New:
<Component Subtype="SteelPlate" Count="500" />
<Component Subtype="LargeTube" Count="50" />
<Component Subtype="SteelPlate" Count="250" />
total health = 500 * 100 + 50 * 60 + 250 * 100 = 78000

Also I forgot to mention that the textures for the hightech armor as well as for the 45 degree slope reinforced hightech armor aren't displaying

really ? well i just remember breaking the mirror block myself in the way you described when changing environment settings when i was experimenting with skybox lighting settings in the environment file.

that is caused by environment settings or post processing. check your mods and graphics setting for PP

I find the mirror armor to be extremely dark, effectively black. It also doesn't reflect much of anything so it ends up just looking like extremely glossy black armor
