I encountered this train in multiplayer. I'm not sure how well my comments will translate but here it goes. The chassis is superb except it is difficult to climb inside when it is in the engine house. I imagine it would be easier if it were parked at a station. The mechanicals are pretty much incomprehensible though. It appears to be some kind of diesel electric drive but has several times as many components as I believe to be necessary. My in-progress GP7 build is my most realistic design and has almost no electronics yet is still easy to start and drive. The "simple orange gear drive train" in my collection is even simpler yet all the driver needs to do is set the throttle and tap the starter. An important consideration is the ratio between engine power and motor output. A single large diesel engine in this game provides about the correct amount of power for a single medium electric motor assuming it is set up correctly.
