Obligatory 1.3 Update Notice

The game has update to a new version. Many mods have broken, yours may be included.

This has been your Obligatory 1.3 Update Notice.

The mod definitely works on current version (1.2). However, you still need to manage your planting just a bit to ensure your crops can actually sync up. I watched my fields closely for a while to see how it works.

I.e. if half your plants are at 60% and half are at 0%, they won't manage to sync up by the time you harvest the more-grown half. Then when you re-plant, the plants that were formerly being accelerated will then be slowed, by a comparable amount. In this situation, the two halves of your field will never sync up (or at least it takes an insanely long time).

So yeah, it 100% works. If you watch closely enough, you can see it in action. You can customize the amount by which it tweaks growth rates - which may alleviate this issue if you turn it all the way up.

Anyway, awesome mod. I still prefer it to the other growth-sync mods out there.

I'm pretty sure this mod does not work.
Jacki 8 Jan, 2021 @ 7:01am
How exactly does this mod work, does it slow down the crops that are closer to harvest and then speed up the less-marture crops until they're at the same growth and then get a normal growth rate?
BlackWaterAquifer 29 Dec, 2020 @ 12:53pm
Hey, OP, where does this go in load order? thank you!
Zeress 26 Sep, 2020 @ 1:54pm
I look forward to using this, thanks for the mod!

Out of curiosity, Is this able to detect and sync other types of things sort of similar to grow zones? For example, planter boxes (from VFE)?

good mod
NECEROS  [author] 28 Aug, 2020 @ 2:22am
yup
Rubber Ducky 28 Aug, 2020 @ 2:05am
Does this work with modded crops?
NECEROS  [author] 20 Aug, 2020 @ 1:02pm
yup
Zverda 20 Aug, 2020 @ 9:49am
Is this Mod safe to place into an existing save?
onu1225 5 Aug, 2020 @ 1:27am
Great, thanks
NECEROS  [author] 5 Aug, 2020 @ 1:26am
@onu1225 It's really a hard thing to notice. The best way to see it is to look at really young plants with some mature ones in the same zone. You will notice they grow faster than adult plants.
onu1225 5 Aug, 2020 @ 1:12am
Hey, Great mod!
Am I supposed to any indication that the mod is working when selecting my crop fields?
NECEROS  [author] 11 Jun, 2020 @ 1:03pm
Find your rimworld config folder and delete the Plant Growth Sync xml file

Anywhere.
Uncertainty 25 May, 2020 @ 5:45pm
Where would you recommend this in the load order because I have a new save and mod list and realized I suck at mod orders
NECEROS  [author] 10 May, 2020 @ 6:54pm
This only works in grow zones. Hydroponics, etc, won't work. Get the hydroponics version from the workshop.
Uncertainty 10 May, 2020 @ 6:28pm
Hey Does this work with hydroponics or anything that adds buildable farm plots that function similar to hydroponics
Darkrighteous 10 May, 2020 @ 7:58am
This is great, because iirc, this is scientifically accurate? Like, I heard some fruit trees can transfer nutrients from trees where they're growing faster than normal to ones that are growing slower than normal. Not sure tho.
NECEROS  [author] 5 May, 2020 @ 9:19pm
Ah gotcha. Yeah that would be shady
codeoptimist 5 May, 2020 @ 8:57pm
When I saw this I was worried it was a reupload of a 100% working mod with no changes for donation links. It's obviously nothing like that. Some things are kind of scummy even when fully permitted by a software license.
NECEROS  [author] 5 May, 2020 @ 8:04pm
Thanks! But also check the license. GNU is very open.
codeoptimist 5 May, 2020 @ 7:57pm
Oh good, you added some stuff (looking at the code). If this was a direct reupload of Lanilor's with 1 line change and all your links above I was gonna be like "bruh". 🤣🤣🤣
Nice. 👍
NECEROS  [author] 4 May, 2020 @ 5:22pm
I'll have to look into it. Not done gizmo code yet. I have no doubts though.
NRFBToyStore 4 May, 2020 @ 12:20am
Any chance of a gizmo, per crop, to sync them? Like I'd love my pumpkins to mature together so I can binge cook meals, but things like COTTON and HEALROOT, I want them soon as I can get them!
Yonan 3 May, 2020 @ 11:14pm
Awesome! It always annoyed me to have fields growing in dribs and drabs based on when pawns got around to planting.
