This model of the Mk16 Mod 0 (SCAR-L) is the "Standard" model. It features a 14" barrel, just .5" short of the M4A1/M4 Carbine. A common sight on any rifle with a carbine-length barrel will be a variation of the x4 ACOG, bascially, any glass with more than x1. It would be incorrect to assume this rifle is meant for CQB, because it is not. FN specifically made a "CQC" model that features a 10" barrel.
