this is funny mod, with some unique looking spells (end of era is literally naruto-type skill)
but so damn op, would be cool if someone create balance patch

I'm in Arx and downloaded this mod, can't seem to find the Vendor anywhere near the wreck of Lady Vengeance... Am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks for porting

It's likely steam not putting the file in the correct place, I would recommend downloading the divinity mod manager from github

Even if I was modding, I'm not sure on how to edit the spells themselves, only did the basics of changing number values in other mods using the unpaker I mentioned. I think tornado from aerothurge removes surfaces, but idr if it removes lava.

@Austin001 turning up the difficulty or using difficulty mods could be a solution. the problem is most of the fire spells throws lava all over the floor. so regardless of what the damage is or how much HP the enemy has, thats a one shot kill no matter what lol. Not only that, but lava is damn near impossible to remove once its been put down, so youre pretty much stuck with that crap on the floor forever if you use it. Even if the only thing that ever gets change with the mod, was removing the lava that would be a massive improvement lol. But now im just rambling for the sake of it, you said you're not messing with DO2 anymore, so it is what it is i guess.

@Tyler Durden This is strictly a port atm, and I'm not currently playing or modding divinity 2. It is fairly easy to edit the files yourself using an unpacker iirc. Also, you can try making the enemies more difficult as well

The fact that none of these skills bypass Shriekers' immunities destroys any immersion into the idea of powerful sorcerers! We're so powerful that we have no way to kill those things! It actually makes no sense in the base game either, but it collides even more with the theme of this mod.

solved my own problem...
so for any one else who may have this problem i not only found where the file goes .. but also why the problem occurs in the first place
so the file goes into a folder under an alternate content file location under steamlibrary/workshop/content/435150... inside that folder you will find a flaming fuck ton of folders with crazy numbers... double click on the one with the time stamp that matches when you downloaded a given mod and just copy or cut it to the documents/larianstudios/mods folder...

not sure why but ive downloaded both of these mods and neither show up in my load order in game or on divinity mod manager from LL... any imputs would be tits mcgoo!
especially seeing as how the source skills in game... well... they suck and basically are a complete waste of time
this mods brings some serious immersion by justifying the the point behind the entire first act!
like he says its dumb AF to have been collared for placing a dome of protection down.. like for realz... thats kinda lame... malady literally teleports the entire lady vengeance to the realm of the dead and then back again ... and you can place a small temporary dome of protection...

this mod should have been cannon in the game as is.. so its heart breaking that i cant use it :'{

Thanks, the merchant part was all I needed to know since I was a bit worried about leaving the ship without knowing if I'll ever see those items again. :happy_creep:

Iirc there was a merchant to buy them from, and there is probably a way to remove it, but im unsure how. You could simply ignore it, or if it's too tempting give them to a merchant

This sounds like the known Atlas issue, if you have too many icons from different (or even base game) some of them will stop loading. There is one mod that helps with this, it's called Combined atlas's or something like that. If it's not that Im not sure how to help

Hi. Just tried your mod on a new game. Don't know if you will look into it or leave as is, but just want to tell you and maybe warn others, if they'll see it. There is some sort of a conflict between your mod and Helaen's Succubus class mod. If I memorise the succubus ability all other memorised scoundrel skill disappear from task bar and default origin skill looses it's art. So if I want to use scoundrel skills I can't use succubus and vise versa. Load order does not help.

Check your steam workshop folder. Also if you download the divinity mod manager it will give you the option to copy them there for you

are you able to change the cooldowns so its like 50 turn cooldown or 90 or something? I assume its probably like one value in every spell, right now they are very op

It does work in act 4 properly. May i suggest making an alternate version of the mod that is more balance? like bad cooldown and stuff like that

Unfortunately for me this mod doesn't seem to work properly in Act 3, You can't go inside Lady Vengeance with this mod enabled, or climb up its ladders either, I am using an old save however loading it during Act 2 just before leaving, the stairs do work like they're supposed to. If there's a fix that would be great

This mod is hilarious in terms of how OP it is. I actually like how the spells fit in with the overall narrative in the game of ascending to god-hood. It can definitely turn all fights into an instant win.

The debilitating effects are nice, but no one should EVER expect this to be balanced as that was not the point of the original mod. That said, if someone ever does try to balance it, they should start by make the spells have a 99-turn cooldown.
