hi i think the best change for nukes and their game play is adding some option to protect your cities 100% from them. as it stands a nuke sub armada has a 100% chance to hit whatever it targets. idk what it should be, a city project or a unit maybe just the military Governor? im not sure but it seems like you are the guy to do it. im going to comment this on your mods till i can get some sort of response if its possible or if your willing to do it. thanks man keep up the good work if you make the mod i would totally pay you.

This is an amazing idea, thank you. Do you take recommendations for mods ? If so, my idea was that to have nukes, a new building that can only be built after Nuclear Power Plant called Uranium Enrichment Facility, and it is in fact that that allows for nukes. Would allow more cities to build them, but would still restrict it (and also with the power plant requirement, you have to have a GOOD abundance of uranium to even get to nukes)

This feels like a lot of work however, and your idea is better for limiting. In any case, tonight I've downloaded 16 of your mods - you make such amazing changes that I've always wanted in the game, and many more besides I never even considered. Your work is astounding, thank you.

In an ideal scenario it would be its own district type, so that other players could glance over to your side of the map and see that you're preparing nukes.

Really like the nuclear enrichment facility idea! Could be a level 4 campus or encampment building?

I've actually considered the idea of a Nuclear Enrichment Facility. But I don't have experience with 3D modelling, so I fell like I wouldn't do it justice. Government Plaza was just the easiest way to enforce a limitation.

Another idea: allow producing nukes in the industrial district that is adjacent to campus of the same player or ally/city state vassal, and Industrial d. should have Nuclear power plant and Campus should have University

I could suggest maybe to add an ability to one of the late Atomic tech/civic to allow producing a unique building for Industrial or Encampment district (or maybe a new type of district? Nuclear Center?) that allows the city to produce nukes. Of course, some limitations needed, like incompatibility with Neighborhood (can't place NC closer that 3 tiles from NH and vice versa) or maybe some interesting traits along that line.

I might consider that, but only after people have had a chance to try out the nuke changes in multiplayer sessions. It is almost certainly possible, and I believe the exact function is called City:Destroy() or something like that?

Do you think you'd be able to allow nukes to raze cities after they've been hit 2 or 3 times, similar to how the comets in apocalypse mode do right now? My limited lua knowledge hasn't allowed me to create something like that.

It's because of the AI bug in the game right now where they will nuke the same city repeatedly, and i've been trying to come up with a way to get them to nuke different targets, one of them being "They can't nuke something that's not there anymore?"

Maybe after 2 or 3 nuclear strikes on a city, it gets destroyed? This may not be in your interest but I thought I'd ask

I did have an idea for a Nuclear Enrichment Facility, as either a district or special building in the Industrial Zone. However, I have zero experience making 3D models, so I canned that plan.

Have you considered making a new district dedicated to missile production? Or requiring spaceports instead of Gov plazas? Spaceports do take a long ass time to build

That's the point. I cannot predict what balance change ideas of mine people will and will not like. It will vary by player group.

I like what you've done here(with the idea of a collection), as I prefer what this mod offers over the other nuke mod you've released, but both ideas are sound from a gameplay perspective.
