The cockatiels were merrily chirpling on the side, lovely sounds.
It's very pathetic to see them go hungry again right after they have eaten, and all they can do is eat grass for a whole day.
For anyone who cares I have updated this mod for 1.2 and 1.3 with some small changes:

Could I be wrong?

If you think its better to keep it as a separate mod I could do the coding for it instead. Ive done a few mods and updates.
If only you knew the power of the birb side...
An interesting behaviour for "bird" animals could be to appear on the map only for the time it takes to hunt down a prey, then fly off/disappear again shortly after consuming their catch.
Getting to have a peek at these magnificent predators would therefore be more situational and have an enjoyable rarity factor, quite like in RL.
All this being said, the bird textures are beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing the mods with us.
Either way, please take care of yourself and don't let anyone pressure you into working when you're not up to it!
using it my self
can you please update to 1.2? I really would like to have some birds in my new games...:)
"You can it it, but should you."
Thanks for making this mod
I think it's possible that ether Animals Logic or Vanilla Animals Overhaul address's that size limitation, because i don't think foxes can haul in vanilla because of that size limit. But i could be wrong about this. Though if this is the case it only effects vanilla animals...
@DarkArtistryNKP yes I don't know the exact body size threshold but once animals get small enough having adv. intelligence doesn't serve any extra purpose. Ideally adv. training would be possible & they'd be able to carry light items (or even rescue light creatures like other small colony pets) but the design seems to be all or nothing. This is a vanilla aspect tho which I don't believe this mod seeks to change. Perhaps a future mod will address this?
