cpr2816, please make sure you have ALL the required DLC downloaded. If you do, and the route still does not show up on your list, unsubscribe and then resubscribe to this item.

Haha. Anyway, I promise the name will make sense later on.

Nope, that doesn't tell me anything. But somehow, Googling that name brought up MY LOCAL STATION. LUL

It will make more sense when more news comes out. You're taking the name too literally.
munchi  [author] 12 May, 2020 @ 8:41pm
Nope. This is a completely different line. The new name will be Northport Line Terminal Railway.

"The Northport Branch was a spur off the Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, running from between Greenlawn and Northport stations to directly within Northport Village."

That is not Canadian. That is New York, around Northport Village. Unless you are talking about something that goes into Canada and doing the connecting Canadian route? New York suggests Niagara Falls area.

I will not be giving that away just yet, but the name Northport Line should give a hint.

What route?
munchi  [author] 12 May, 2020 @ 2:13pm
cpr2816, I have had plans to do that for almost 6 months now. It's coming. It is the next project after the one I am currently building for a friend.
cpr2816 11 May, 2020 @ 7:06pm
should build a route in canada

10-4. Understood. Thanks again!

Also, I know the feeling of being a college student. No worries. =)

Well, congrats on getting it up! If you are able to create a second version for the international audience, I'm sure they will all appreciate it. Even if you have to dip into another American route for track or crossing assets (Cajon is also closed to us, but almost everything else is open unless I'm missing one).
munchi  [author] 9 May, 2020 @ 6:12pm
Well, this is my first published route. I'm still new to this--still learning. To be completely honest, I am surprised I managed to even get this route online. So many curveballs. Anyway, I will definitely consider making a copy with just Miami, Sherman Hill, Penn Coal, and Peace River. I doubt it would take very long, but I don't have much time on my hands nowadays being a college student. I would rather start fresh with something new than fix something that isn't exactly broken. Thank you for your interest in the route as well as the information you gave to me.

No problem, I find it unfortunate that route builders don't seem to have this knowledge, and this is the second case I've mentioned in a comment. Some are unavoidable, like route merges (I would not comment on those), but for fresh routes I like to see about this. If you ever do make a new version of this route, by all means update it and I'll be happy to look if I have the other DLC. =)

Cyclone, I was unaware that these routes were unavailable for countries outside the US. Unfortunately, nearly a third of the track is from Marias Pass and all but 6 of the crossings are from Stevens Pass. However, I will be beginning to build another route sometime this month that should be accessible to international users. I will keep this in mind. Thank you for your input.
Cyclone 9 May, 2020 @ 5:15pm
How critical are Stevens and Marias? From a design perspective, I would remove those as neither can be acquired internationally.
