@integrated_graphics_is_great269 There's no point for such a special-purpose and single-use mod as this. Just unsubscribe.
graphics_are_great 31 Oct, 2024 @ 9:58pm
could you add a setting to disable it so i don't have to go to the main menu to turn it of or on?
algernon  [author] 22 Aug, 2024 @ 4:49pm
@Trypticon Why should it? It's got no settings to change, so doesn't have a settings panel.
Mr.Goodman 22 Aug, 2024 @ 2:27pm
ummm it dosen't seem to show in mod settings.........
algernon  [author] 25 Mar, 2024 @ 3:48pm
@BM07 I hope you've read the description and understand what this mod actually does ...
IZX 24 Mar, 2024 @ 9:58pm
I need this mod! Thank you so much. :steamthis: :steamhappy:
Carlos 25 Jun, 2023 @ 3:45am
Run perfect. Thanks a lot!!!
algernon  [author] 31 May, 2023 @ 4:57pm
@mitea.mircea Did you read the description above? Even just the first sentence?
mitea.mircea 31 May, 2023 @ 8:40am
Well my cities water is polluted even if I download this mod and this seems to happen with pollution sickness and noise
Elias 9 Apr, 2023 @ 1:50pm
So you have solved my wish 3 years ago already.... and didn't tell me about that until now? Shame on you ;)
No really: Thanx for your effort. I appreciate your work!
algernon  [author] 9 Apr, 2023 @ 5:33am
@Elias That's already implemented in Lifecycle Rebalance Revisited .
Elias 9 Apr, 2023 @ 4:12am
Just as an inspiration , because you seem to be the most active modder for CSL right now and you seem to be one of the few who ever adressed sickness in this game (so maybe you can do it easily):

Create a mod that makes people sick on a random basis.

I mean, as in real life. I have never been transferred to a hospital because of noise (and I disabled this nonsense via mod). And my cities are free from polluted water etc. So I have absolutely no ambulance rushing through my cities. But random appearing sicknesses/injuries would be nice... in all areas of the city (and not just in the districts with noise pollution).

@AL3XY00! Well, duh. Did you actually bother to read the description?
AL3XY00! 5 Apr, 2023 @ 8:25am
it works for 3 minutes and then suddenly everyone is sick again
algernon  [author] 28 Apr, 2022 @ 4:53am
@gktmdals23 Use this mod once, and once only, *if* you have a bug in your game that's given you extra sickness. Then remove.

This mod is *not* for sickness caused by normal in-game reasons, such as pollution (water and/or ground), noise, or ageing.
gktmdals23 28 Apr, 2022 @ 4:38am
Is it right to activate the mode setting in the menu before starting the game?
I don't know if this mode is working
There are still too many ambulances in the city.
hillyhaven 24 Jan, 2022 @ 4:39pm
Also liike you said i might uninstall junk but idk how to solve
hillyhaven 24 Jan, 2022 @ 4:39pm
Yeah Ima Uninstall This mod because instead it like cut off all my sewage and my power for a part of my game and i always check my map before saving.
algernon  [author] 24 Jan, 2022 @ 4:13pm
@nelsonham Polluted water and noise pollution are the most likely candidates. People tend to overlook the noise pollution part - heavy traffic causes that as well.
hillyhaven 24 Jan, 2022 @ 2:34pm
also my industrial stuff is across the map from where the problem is
hillyhaven 24 Jan, 2022 @ 2:34pm
Um ok ill just try fixing this out maybe google junk
ok thx
algernon  [author] 23 Jan, 2022 @ 8:35pm
@nelsonham This won't fix any underlying issues with your city. If you're having sickness problems on that kind of scale, then you really need to sort out the underlying issue.

Note also that many of the cheat assets on the workshop are broken and can do nasty things to your save.
hillyhaven 23 Jan, 2022 @ 2:05pm
this will help me ALOT with my problem even though i have a freaking district full of op hospitals or regular and just cheat things
thank you so much for inventing this i will be so happy I just can not say how happy i am to try this out

Smile And happines and Thankness Nelsonham/Hillyhaven
hillyhaven 23 Jan, 2022 @ 2:03pm
oh ok thank you i will install it right now
algernon  [author] 9 Jan, 2022 @ 1:53pm
@nelsonham Yes, as per the description.
hillyhaven 9 Jan, 2022 @ 10:18am
i want a reply so does this work every time i load
Killeroox 28 Sep, 2021 @ 4:10am
where remove sick? https://imgur.com/oZkCo29
lucia-valerie 11 Nov, 2020 @ 2:41pm
@algernon ok sickness came back, sry to bother and thanks for the mod. worked great all in all
algernon  [author] 10 Nov, 2020 @ 1:58am
@lukasbruckner This mod doesn't do anything with gameplay; all it does is remove sickness from cims at game load. If you're not getting sickness at all, even when you should, then it sounds as though some other mod is involved. Impossible for me to say anything further without any further info.
lucia-valerie 10 Nov, 2020 @ 12:24am
@algernon, i got every kind of pollution and i switched pollution solution off, still i dont get any sickness
algernon  [author] 9 Nov, 2020 @ 2:33pm
@lukasbruckner If you want sickness, try making sure that your water supply is polluted (water intakes sucking up polluted water, or placing water towers on polluted ground).
lucia-valerie 9 Nov, 2020 @ 8:30am
ight i got a problem. I installed the mod, deinstalled it, but now I dont get any sick people anymore.
algernon  [author] 28 Sep, 2020 @ 10:28pm
@BLEACHED Rectum It's a one-off fix, that (as mentioned in LARGE TEXT in the description) "It's recommended that you uninstall this mod as soon as it's served its purpose".

This mod SHOULD NOT be used "for a while".
NotoriousNut3ack 28 Sep, 2020 @ 6:34pm
this mod works for a while then randomly stops working.
Blackout 11 Jun, 2020 @ 7:38pm
ok, thanks
algernon  [author] 10 Jun, 2020 @ 7:38pm
@last stormtrooper Please bear in mind that this is really just a limited once-off fix for a specific purpose, and (as per the description above) isn't going to stop/remove any sickness in your city from any cause (pollution, noise, random chance, other mods) after the game has loaded.
Blackout 10 Jun, 2020 @ 7:34pm
sadly, it is not working for me, covid-19 is too powerful
algernon  [author] 13 May, 2020 @ 4:17am
@kristofburger Are you suggesting that people subscribe to mods without reading the description carefully first? Surely not!

But yes, it will be removed once I'm satisfied the immediate need is over (defined as going several days without me needing to see it to troubleshoot something - nothing today, so we're getting there).
kristofburger 13 May, 2020 @ 1:48am
You still shouldn't do that to the output log, it becomes a mess just because someone didn't read the description.
algernon  [author] 13 May, 2020 @ 1:33am
@kristofburger One line per citizen, yes (for tracking issues related to citizen setup). Hence the recommendation in large letters at the bottom of the description.
kristofburger 13 May, 2020 @ 1:30am
This mod causes severe output log spam. One log file is 51 MB in size because there's hundreds of thousands of lines about sickness being removed from a citizen.
arKtur 10 May, 2020 @ 5:53am
so ... Knoxville Counties Mayor, KANE (Glenn Jacobs) finally Choke Slammed, Covid-19 to hell.
